Great video. I appreciate your honesty. Means alot. I believe those slugs like a velocity of nine hundred feet per second and up to be a consistently accurate round. Bore size plays a big role with any ammo. Pellets, slugs and bullets can be picky about barrels. Too tight or too loose of a fit can cause hell on accuracy and be very frustrating. I might try these slugs in my Airforce Condor SS. It has easily adjustable power and has an eighteen in Lother Walther barrel. With it turned up it hits like a sledgehammer on my steel targets.

I went through quite a few videos. Seems like you need something between 950 to 1000 fps to get a descent accuracy out of slugs. Still for target, JSB Heavy performs better and for my hunting, I don't know anything better than Hades. Give it a try. If you can get 1 inch accuracy at 50 yards, I would say they are amazing for hunting. Nothing expands like FX Hybrid slugs.

So I have a few questions for you I see in your video that the fx hybrid is a 217 diameter and the JSB knock outs were a 216 diameter could that effect your testing between the 2 different slugs especially if the knock out fell into your chamber of your springer,it would have been the wrong size. Also they were designed to be shot out of a PCP not a spring gun correct? Also was the FPS was way to slow for slug It should have been more like 940 to 1100fps like they were designed for. You said they were shooting around 760fps witch would explained the those horrible groups you got with the slugs, and the great groups you got with the pellets. So if you are not willing to tune your rifle or get a rifle you are willing to tune. why would you test slug that were not designed for the lower powered pellet gun for groups. I know the fx royal is a pcp but it was really designed for pellets since it is not that tune able. Sir I think you need to do a little research before you spread bad information to the public on a product you do not understand. I would surely like to here back from you.

I’m with you, no way will I spend the money on the Hybrids, The smooth twist liners were never designed to shoot slugs as you found out. FX has been working hard to get the perfect solution. I feel the new superior liner might be just slightly better than the superior heavy for my .25 Impact with 25.39g slugs. Still doesn’t come close to the incredible accuracy of my HP .22 Daystate redwolf shooting .216” 25.39g JSB knockouts at 940FPS...The knockouts at 47yds shoot same hole as the JSB 25.39 Redesigned diabolo. Truly amazing how well that Lothar Walther barrel shoots. I need to spend more time with the impact though because I’m confident the superior liner and the right slug will produce good groups. You can replace the liner in your AG ??
