It actually got worse on cold engine😢
@kardaanipaukАй бұрын
actually, after almost a year, i would say, that fresh oil gives the main effect. to be honest, i've made some research about oil additives and i would not use them anymore. just use good engine oil and that's all. my car has now 10k more kms since this test and i made regular oil changes without adding additives and you are right. i think this additive diluted engine oil a little bit and decreased viscosity.

How about using LIQUI MOLY CERATEC? 😇 I wanna see and watch your review💪🏻
@kardaanipauk6 ай бұрын
@@carlestereamon5814 maybe in the future on another engine. this one has already 230k km and I don't really see the point to test ceratec on this engine. also I don't have any method to look inside the engine or disassembly it to proof ceratec influence on the engine parts objectively. I just change oil every 5k and use high quality full synthetic oil to prolong engine life.

Why not just repair whatever is making that noise instead of adding this temporary crap the noise will come back and only get worse over time
@kardaanipauk5 ай бұрын
@@cincouno3314 nope, noise didn't get worse. also repair will be so expensive that I don't really see point doing it on this engine. hydraulic lifters don't really affect anything and they will work like this for a long time. it was just experiment for my own interest.

@@kardaanipaukit can kill the engine by sending metal through the system but if you change the oil frequently I’m sure your right
@kardaanipauk3 ай бұрын
@@BigT_541 hydraulic lifters can't really produce any metal into engine. it's not like rod bearings. there is no sliding surfaces. it just adjusts the gap which occurs during thermal expansion. and so far i didn't notice any metal flakes etc in my oil.
