You could try to and drill the bass body to where it connects to the MMX body. As its frame is entirely made of steel, it could act as the ground

Guessing from the intonation, the E string needs to be a little longer. Slant bridges solve that problem but it looks like you have that covered in your adjusters. If the damping could be further from the bridge it would be more effective, but maybe there is not any space before the marble guides ....very interesting work!

Could the felt material be too soft, for the true dampening effect to occur? Keep up the good work Carlos!

The felt material is something to discuss in time, for sure. Thanks for watching!

Because the string vibrates the most in the center and vibrates less and less towards its edges, it is difficult to dampen all of the movement with a damper at the very edge of the string. The funkalyzer might work better if it were simply moved further up along the strings.

I think, if you would make all arm longer, it would work better. Then you would hit the string not so close to the beginning and you could control the strength much better on the side with the hand. But i dont know if there is enough space at the original cyberbase to do that.

The distance from the bridge to the felt pad is too small. This is something that would need to be dialed in, so decide on a position before making it into a machine. You could also just make the pad larger, so the surface area of contact is greater. It also doesn't need to be on both sides of the string, you could get rid of the cogs and all that and just have it snap down from the top.

I love to see that also at the cyber bass there is progress. World-Tour is coming... It would be interesting to see also Davie504 involved in any way into this project.

Not a fan of Davie504; however I can appreciate why he would be an ideal candidate to pull into this part of the project.

±12 minutes in: is it me or is this not tuned yet for actual use?? The notes sustain i thought would between the original sample and the altered sample you 'created'..
