Honestly I didn’t love the Glam palette. A good alternative is the Lorac Noir. I bought both and am returning the Glam palette!

I absolutely love the Glam palette! But the ND Mini Glam palette can really do very similar looks in the larger Glam palette.

Great video Mandy. The ND shimmer looks more refined, but the looks turned out really well. Alter Ego don’t ship internationally, so it’s ND for me. 🥰 I’m loving the retro and zendo mini palettes I recently purchased. They’re so pretty. 💗

I jumped on the Bloom's pallet when I heard Jen Phelps say it was a spot on dupe. Then I went and took the love pallet out of my basket. I'm still planning to order the mini love because there are colors the love doesn't have so neither will the Bloom... and I absolutely love mini's.

I own both of these palettes from Alter Ego, as well as a dupe for a Pat Mcgrath palette (called Luster by Alter Ego), and they're near exact dupes. No need to spend ridiculous amounts of money when it's all the same in the end.

As always, you do a great job of creating looks with that Love palette and the Bloom. I can’t quite relate to those shades together; I look at it and just scratch my head wondering where I’d even start. I guess I’m pretty strongly on team neutral, at least to ground a look with maybe a little bit of muted color.

I got Bloom, my first Alter Ego palette, a few weeks ago. I think I got a dud. It’s way powdery and lacks pigment. It’s really hard to build up color at all. It doesn’t perform at all like the one you are using. Blergh! I did get the brush set too, and they are really nice.

I wish Alter Ego would set up their palettes the same way as the ones they're duping. Makes it easier for comparison and the color story always looks better in the original, even though they're all the same shades between both palettes basically.

I really struggle with pink and red shadow! I always think I look like I have pink eye. Great video!

You could use a brown or black eyeshadow and place it as a really thin eyeliner really close to your lashes, kind of like she did with the deeper pink shade on the outer part of the eye. The brown/black shadow will cut between the eye and the pink and make it look less like pinkeye. And just don't place any pink shades on the bottom, keep it on the eyelids only. I have this same issue, so this is what I do. 🤗

I find that the dupe palettes are great alternatives, but I rather invest in one original eyeshadow palette that I'll use daily! I feel like Natasha's $65 palette range is reasonable and trying out her formula is amazing! Thank you so much for demonstrating both, but I'll still keep my eye out for Natasha's palettes. I recently received my order from alter ego I got 2 palettes and I love the colors but... they have a strong smell of chemicals... umm I'm not sure if its normal or did I get bad batch 🤔???
