Finally found some time to just sit and learn the spring bones. Was trying to use the other Reallusion tutorial to give a campus character sping bones in their hair. Was so happy to find this tutorial ... great step through. After I got the hair done, I even gave HOOT a spring bone in his tail and ears. Great addition to the software. So happy to see you doing these tutorial videos, TET! ---you got the perfect pace.

Thanks. Glad you found it useful. I'll look forward to seeing Hoot with his spring bones. I imagine that's just going to bring animating him to the next level without too much extra effort. 🙂

Hi David, Thank you for the video. Very interesting. I like that new feature. I wanted to ask you if it is possible to make the hair swing in the wind without moving the position of the character?

As near as I can tell, no you can't. Spring bones are reactionary and respond to how whatever rig they're attached to is moving. However it is possible to key frame spring bones in the timeline (I havent' really looked into this yet I just know you can), or you could also add subtle movement to whatever the spring bones are attached to to simulate wind. For example I tried moving just the front hair of my character a very small amount to the left then back into its original position and it looked very convincing as a little bit of breeze in the hair.

can we create a Prop with 360 View? i mean a House Model, with Front side and back view?
@animlife
@animlife Жыл бұрын
If you mean a true 3D prop that you can spin in 3D space like you would in a program like Blender then no. Cartoon Animator is a 2D animation software. If you want that kind of capability then Moho can import 3D models onto its stage as props. However if you just want different views of something then sure, just make different views and use whichever you need.
