Hi Ritchie, got to say that I didn't find this tutorial much use. I need screenshots, close ups and no music so that I can hear you clearly. I'm trying to make my samsung android a hotspot for my galaxy tab 3.

Haha. I literally just did that! I turned on my android phone's "settings" > "Tethering" > turned on "Wi-Fi Hotspot" and put in a password (it asked for one) THEN, turned on Galaxy Tab 3 and selected "Wi-Fi" and saw my phone listed there, it connected no problem. I was just goofing around to see if it would work. Idk if that's what you were trying to do FOUR years ago? Sorry. I'm sure you're all set now, though. lol

Nah u saved me this so worked from my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to my tab A 9.7 inch 2016. Better than Bluetooth tethering which kept dropping out for some reason u're vid was the only one that had easy way omg so so cool 😎thanks u saved me

Thanks, even though your video is old, it helped partially what I need to do, although I was trying to tether a Kindle device. I might create a new video, now I know how to get it working.

I could be wrong (because I don't life in Australia) but the 3G model may not have been released there. Upon launch in the US, only the 3G/WIFI model was available through Verizon, and the Galaxy Tab 7.7 P6800 (International/Unlocked) wasn't... though you could import it through dealers on Amazon and other websites.
