I bought this app bc the ads were annoying. Best 3 dollars I've spent! I connected my Samsung Note 4 and Samsung S Relay! Now I can see myself while I record videos on phone! Thanks for this great app!

Using blutooth is my best alternative. I find my Samsung has not got NFC capability, your videos are always good, but this is brilliant, thanks for your help on the video.

Straight Talk dosen't allow for tethering, and It would be a violation of their TOS to do so. They could disable your SIM if they found out, and you'd need a new one ($5 at most stores). You could probably get away with it but I would not reccommrnd doing so.

robert snoddy Yes, it uses your phone data to access internet, but I'm not sure if your provider charges such data as part of your phone data consumption or separately. Here in India we do not have separate tethering plans, so we can use our phone data pack over tethering.

In India, we buy phone and sim cards seperately. These phones are unlocked and can be used with any service provider. If I have data plan on my sim, i can use tethering too. If the phone was provided by service provider, the tethering option may be disabled by the service provider. This is not the case in India.

+Jozef Zoldos You might be using bluetooth tethering. Try WiFi tethering i.e., Turn on WiFi hotspot on your phone, connect to this wifi from your tablet and download.

+Anirudh Gupta Bluetooth tethering can only be used to share your phones data connection(2G, 3G, 4G). You can not share WiFi connection using bluetooth tethering.

Try this. Pair your android phone using bluetooth. Then goto settings-bluetooth in your tab. Select the phone(or phone settings) you have paired, see if there is something like "use of internet access". If its there, you can use it.

Great. It would be alot simpler and cleaner (less power) to use direct usb cable, wouldn't it- then could devices be different OS, as in phone internet used on PC running Ubuntu? I am very down on WIFi cause of the massive amount of criminal hackers in the FSU, where I am now.

Mike Hammerschlag Most android phones do not support usb host and even when supported usb tethering between two android devices may not be possible(did not try). So sometimes wifi is the only option

+Erica Straker You already have whatsapp on your phone, you can continue using that. Do you mean you want to use your phones whatsapp on tablet? no you can not. We are only sharing data connection here. Everything else remain as it is, you can not share apps etc. Moreover only one installation of whatsapp works for one mobile number. If you install whatsapp again on tablet using the same phone number as your mobile, you can no longer use whatsapp on your phone. Only the new installation on tablet works in this case. If you just want to use whatsapp of your phone from tablet or pc for convenience, try whatsapp web. It can be used from pc. Let me know if I'm missing something.

Does your phone and tablet support bluetooth audio? Stream the audio to the tablet, most devices can emulate a headset and can also recieve in addition to send Bluetooth ADP2 audio.
