I’m 225-250 and have been using a Predator XL for two years. It works great. The only time I’ve had problems have usually been my fault.

I got my hands on the carbon fiber one at a trade show. Can’t wait for that to come out later this summer. Same weight larger size.

Edp, I feel like the edp is built better. Its a little heavier but cams better and is more solid. IMO.

I heard it waa decent but the ropes have to be changed out, the bridge and the tether. So by the time u do that your better off buying a used tethrd, or latitude or a Trophyline covert lite.

Which do you like better, EDP or the Predator? I have the Predator XL and the EDP. I just got the Tethrd One gen 2 sticks so I’m tempted to get the Predator to have a super light setup.

Oh man, I mean the e.d.p is wayyy more solid feeling undery feet. The predator is just so fricken light it makes me wanna take it and hunt off it. How much do u weigh? Id say if your under $250 go with the predator.

@@MichiganGreatOutdoors, thanks! I like how solid the EDP is and how well it bites the tree. The Predator XL I like how you can angle the platform more but it doesn’t bite into the tree like the EDP. It’s real tempting 😂 but I’m not sure if 9 ounces or so is worth the price. I definitely don’t want to get rid of the EDP for it though.

I like the fix better, just feels better quality. Im 36 years old and prefer to invest my hard earned money on something that would last a lifetime. Im not so sure the predator would last me forever, at my weight.

It did have flex and I was surprised by that being that is CAST aluminum
