I wish you had the 1zpresso ZP6 Special to test. It grinds very uniformly, which leads to high clarity of flavor, and no stalling whatsoever with my Clever Dripper. It's also a lot easier to grind with, at least compared to the Timemore C2 and C3 (Though the C3 is easier than the C2), and it has less retention of grounds without the need for RDT. The ZP6 Special is just outstanding..at least for filter coffee.

what settings do you use for clever with zp6?
@CaveyMoth Жыл бұрын
@@hnsjnthn 4.5 is the jack of all trades setting for me. That's where I usually start, whether it's for the Clever or V60. 4.0 is where the draining process starts to slow down in my experience. I recently learned that not all water is equal. I brought my clever dripper to my brother's house. And his city water does not like to drain quickly at all, even with a very coarse grind. It's like his water is thiccer somehow.

@@CaveyMoth fr water is very tricky if you dont go all out scientific with the testing etc. and thanks for the reply! i have been experimenting going coarser (5.0 - 5.5) and i quite like it so far. it kinda highlights the prominent notes for me. but i will try exploring around 4.5
could you please do review on 1Zpresso ZP6? pretty please..

It might help to note the weight of the tray, saving you the time of moving fine powder from it to weigh the powder.

they need to remove the power to weight the next one, and he probably wanted to put them side by side on paper lol

@@user-xs3db6ox3q it's more accurate to weigh all that's in the tray, then transfer to a paper for visual comparison. Fine powders can easily attach to surfaces, like his finger. This way, any that's not removed from the tray has already been weighed, and will be zeroed out when the tray is tared for the next sample.
