My truck rarely goes over 30 mph....I drive it to the boat ramp.....put in.....park it....don't see it again for 10 hours at least. Retrieve boat, drive for tacos, then home. Wash, rinse, repeat. Life is simple, just add water. 😁

I just had this very same conversation yesterday with my pals. State or US highway- just try to keep up. In town, driver slower than the posted limit because every road is a school zone or construction zone. 😅

Try driving in Salt Lake City, Utah especially during LDS Conference. Make sure you learn the Utah Headlock beforehand

Weird, I've always encountered that people go way faster than posted limits on highways in this state. In towns no, but highways ya.

It has been well said: "635 [the bypass N and E of Dallas] is called the Death Trap for two reasons: death, and trap." If you go the speed limit on this highway, you will get mowed down. If you go 10 over in the left lane, same result.

Well the a holes that drive through my neighborhood going 45+ missed the memo. They don’t slow down in residential neighborhoods. Thank goodness they’re finally installing some speed bumps because I swear I’ve seen people go 60 on our street.

Texan who visits New Mexico fairly regularly, and omg they're SO SLOW. They even told us, "yeah, we're in no hurry, just get used to it." but I drive 80 mph everywhere in Texas. Have most of my life. It's a hard habit to break! So I try to set the cruise control, surrender, and not cuss too much at the slow pokes in front of me.
