Love the Texas fossils. TX has so much that it's almost obscene! Went fossil hunting there 20 years ago and it was so much fun. Even the old train station at Paris was full of marine shells. The quarry at Texoma was fantastic. Keep posting!

What parts of Texas did you visit? It's obscene to the point you start to feel like you are in an episode of the Twilight Zone. I take it you noticed the landscaping at the train station and decided to visit a quarry?
@icatz4 жыл бұрын
@@sultros mainly East Texas, but some other areas. The station in Paris was abandoned and I'm always looking on the ground and whoa, loads of fossil shells. Texoma was a specific visit cos my bf knew I'd like it. I've never seen anything like it.

There's a long video on KZbin called like forest do t exist anymore. Our trees are bushes. Something along that line. Guy believes earth had huge silicone-based life long ago that was harvested. Very interesting it is. Awesome finds also. Cheers from WI. Hope you are well after the storm y'all had. God bless

My grandson who is 5 and loves rocks I would love to learn about rocks so I can teach him . And take him rock hunting while his nana is still cool 😎 I live just a few miles from the San Jacinto river and was amazed at the beautiful rocks you find there.I’m going to go looking soon .

Thanks for this video! All is really nice. Thanks for sharing where you dig at too. Most people are rather selfish and done share where. I have only been to Llano River rock hunting but I now have a bucket list of places to go. I’m 71 and would love to get some of the green fluorite or agatized wood . Do you ever find arrow heads? Another bucket list item! 😁🙏🏻

Hey, are you two still out rock hounding and making videos? I have a piece of llanite the size of a meatloaf! I dug it out from a dry creekbed at Bar M Ranch in Mason. I didn't know what it was at first, it was damp because I dug it out, it was about 8 inches down, saw the blue crystal in it and I thought it had opal in it! ROFL :) Cool piece though

Just found your channel, cool stuff bud. Gotta admit I'm a big rock hound too. Just curious if you found the greenish fluoride along the llano river or did you dig that from someone's private land? I'm not far from Llano, and would love to get some info on how to find some for myself. Feel free to private message me if need be. Thanks! Oh, and I subbed you as well.
