@@gallardo360 yes i know but thts one price ...look at all the things they added he mentioned ,so you have the things the purchaser bought thet did get configured in on the price of the build, then you have they things they did to the build per request and tht went into the price ...we just trying to get a ballpark figure per these places so we would know wht we would have to have b4 contracting these ppl and wasting time conversing...to ultimately find out wht we would want from a specific build is out of our price rage....you get wht we're trying to say?.....wht if all in all land ,customization and alll coast high 300's or even 400...if i only have 300 to 325....then im all out of rang cause the build i feel in love with i want tht exact saime thing (minus or adding this) just teying to have our ducks in a row

This is exactly the home I have drawn up for when I’m ready to build, I am so excited and thankful for y’all sharing it cuz now I can actually see , see it rather than just on paper. I’m not sure if down the hallway behind the kitchen is set up exactly as mine but I can honestly say it’s pretty darn close, in my layout I have a butlers pantry on the backside off the wall where the dbl oven is the whole length of that wall.. I’m so excited I can not wait to build, I honestly wish y’all were here in Arizona I would most definitely hire y’all to oversee my build. Thank you again for sharing with us, y’all do amazing work.

What a fantastic design to a beautifully simple external shell. The detail you guys put into these houses really go above and beyond the stereotypical "metal shed with some plumbing and rooms" idea that a lot of people have when they think of barndominiums or post frame/pole barn houses.

BEAUTIFUL! I absolutely love the colors, style, built-in cabinetry, and flow of the house! My SO and I are building a barndo, and I drew up a floor plan very similar to this one before coming across this video. Now that the homeowners have been enjoying their home I am interested in asking them if there is anything they wish they would have tweaked, monthly energy costs, etc. My two main concerns would be the difference in ceiling height from one side to the other in the upstairs bedrooms, and having the front door so far from the driveway when having company over (after sketching so many floor plans this makes the most sense).

Hopefully in a couple of years my family and I will build a house just like this one. I love the tall ceiling and the doors I love them tall but I want them a little wider. I would love the front door too be a tall French doors with windows. Also I like the the big garage but have them attach to the house and make the garage when you drive in add another 15 feet going in.

Talking to a city councilman(Mansfield) last night and he mentioned this because he didn't know that the city allowed this. He looked into it and realized that there is no limit on building materials. I believe this one is down in the Britton area. I just found this out because we are using this councilman as a real estate agent looking to buy land and build one was well. Good info to know.

It would be great if just one time they would say, prices may vary where you are located or based on costs of materials when you decide to build, but we built this one here for X amount of money per square ft. Just a ballpark idea what this 3100 sq ft finished home costs.

This is my second visit to Barndominium new home concept and would like an approximate estimate, excluding indoor furnishing, for 2000 sqft home? Also, having over 35 years experience in southern yellow pine construction timber and the problems with warping, twist, etc. for delayed construction once primary structure is established, what is normal time period once all necessary details for site prep has been completed to complete a home? Finally, since I will likely build somewhere in West La. what is normal travel distance to construction site. Look forward to your response and maybe scheduling a site visit on some existing properties that your company was the "prime" contractor. Thanks, Joe

The only mistake was going with the black stainless appliances. I did that and it is just a film over the stainless. If you scrubby to remove dirt or grease the film comes off.

You're the only person I've ever heard refer to them as "soap boxes." Gotta tease you a little. To say to someone "get off your soapbox" means to tell them to stop preaching or providing advice. People who wanted to preach or provide advice to people in a public place used to stand on a wooden box to raise themselves above people to be heard and seen. I think they're actually called shower niches. ;-)

Thanks so much! 😊 When we previously recorded it, the glass was not installed yet. We did a frameless shower glass over the pony wall and surround with a door. Turned out really nice. Wish we could have got that in the video. Also the pantry was a whole different room that the clients were doing work themselves in that we didn't show. There is a huge amount of storage on the sides of the gameroom upstairs and under the stairs. They were moving in the next day so we had to move fast to get the video... :-)
