This was probably one of the most painful videos I've watched. Her love for him was so deep, she followed him into addiction and then to lose him and need him to help her through the grief. My God, I pray she finds an anchor.

I am so sorry for your loss. You are one of the only people on this channel that understands it is the addiction. Locking others up for "justice" will not bring anyone back and is not the cure or solution. The way to keep these situations from happening is to stop drug use. EVERY high is a gamble with life. Only personal responsibility and ceasing drug use will keep you out of this deadly situation. TPD has done an amazing job documenting the aftermath and making us all reflect on the reality that many like to close their eyes to. These people are real and these tears are forever.

As painful as this is for his sister, I pray that at least one life is saved because she was brave enough to tell both of their stories. Her heartache is so great, that I feel it, too. I know Exactly how you are feeling. I lost my youngest brother just 1 months ago to an accidental overdose of methamphetamines and fentanyl. He left behind 3 children, two just teenagers. I can't tell you how much I wished he would have come back home. Something he actually told his oldest son just 2 weeks before I got that call. He wanted to come Home. I have experience many deaths in my (66yrs) the worse was my oldest brother in 1998. My brother was about seven years older than me too . Wasn't all your brother was in life. But he was still my brother. It's 2024 I still miss our life together. Sorry for your loss.

Do you mean fentanyl poisoning/ murder? Most of these ppl are not taking this drug by choice, whatever they paid for is ‘cut’ with illicit street fentanyl. They think they’re buying Percocet, Xanax, ambien, cocaine, heroin, weed, etc. Yet They’re buying their death unfortunately, straight Fentanyl, unbeknownst to them. I’m not condoning drug use but it’s unfair to lace something, sell it for profit w/o telling the other person. Street Fentanyl is dangerous killing too many ppl.

Oh my sweet baby girl Rhiannon, thank you for putting your life and love out here. I pray that you keep sight of your grief and you are able to navigate this world with your loving memories of your brother Michael. They say the greater the grief, the deeper the love - and how we must honor our grief and allow it to move between the 5 stages. There is no particular order that grief should fall in : denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. You may find yourself going in between all 5 for an unknown amount of time, for there is no time limit on grieving the loss of one of your greatest loves.. I too lost my best friend, and brother Michael to addiction as well - we were both in active addiction together and i carried so much guilt of not being able to save him. I still grieve my brother 16yrs later - and not one day has passed w/o me giving thoughts about him. I miss him terribly to this very day, with now most days are better than some. But i just wan to stress the importance of you allowing the process of grief to happen, and dont let outside forces pressure you to wrap it up and shut it down - Hugs from Phoenix, AZ... I have a cousin I was raised with, and our relationship was very much like this. We’re told that we act/react more like twins than even brother and sister. He was one of the first to get a rough case of Covid, and at one time we did lose him, but he was revived. 5 months he spent in the hospital. I can easily put myself in this sister’s place. Her pain and heartache is so fresh and raw. It’s still very new to her, even though some time has passed. My heart aches for her loss. Keeping the family and friends in my thoughts and prayers. They are with you all the time and since you experience the same things at the same time and usually think a lot alike, later in life there are memories that no one else can relate to or understand but the two of you. You both smile or laugh about something and no one else gets it. Once one of you passes no one will know that history or know you like that again. It's special.

I don’t know her but I’m SO very glad and genuinely thankful that she is sober. It would be too easy for her to slip and end up spiraling but she is hanging on. That’s not always the easiest thing to do. In fact, it’s probably one of the hardest if you have already had a problem with addiction. The devil stays busy trying to figure out ways to best kill, steal and destroy each of us individually but keep on hanging on.

I have many siblings. One of My sisters and I had the same type of relationship as you and your brother. My sister has been gone for years now. I still miss her daily, and have my struggles. I say this just to tell you, it's devastating but you need to find the other things in life to keep you going. There will never be a replacement for your brother but live your life as best you can until u see him again.

Your brother seemed to be an amazing person and while I was watching this episode it can clearly be seen what an impact your brother had on you, in any positive or negative way. The thing which makes me very sad is the fact that he, despite the fact that you and him were so close, didn’t reach out to you and said „I need help, I‘m lost“ 😔 I am not a very religious person, I never was. But I think that there is a God of some sort, and I really hope that God had a good plan or reason to call Michael. And even despite the fact that I‘m not a very religious person I do pray that you one day will find peace with the tragic and unnecessary death of your beloved brother. It must be so hard to go from seeing him all the time, confiding in him, laughing together and crying together and then he is gone just like that. When you look back do you think he had started using after him and his fiance broke up. That must have sent him for a loop. He seemed like such a great guy and if he did do this on purpose he must have known you would be devestated so maybe it was an accident. Regardless I feek so bad that you have lost such a good friend but hope with your husband's support and that of your family you can someday come to terms with this sad sad time in your life. It really hurts my heart to see her in such pain about her brother because it reminds me of exactly how me and my brother were in our addiction together and how we are now that we are both clean, 8years and 1 year. We try to talk to each other everyday but my work schedule is hectic but he still calls and texts, he is my closest sibling and his life is such a ball of joy and light now that he is clean. August gave him 1 year of a brand new clean life and I couldn’t be more happier and feel more blessed that he did it.
