I feel like if you optioned out to the 2.7 V6 TT eco on the ranger and maybe! Ford will bring the tremor package back but none the less a nice xlt with proper aftermarket suspension and add one the ranger hands down leaps and bounds ahead. I have a 21 tremor and the 2.3 is tried and true and with a tune they’re more then enough for what the truck is meant for.

Baja boss AT so much better tire, very aggressive and eat up the off-road like a mud tire but run quiet on the road on the way to the trails. As usual great video. The trailhunter is much cooler

Something I see reviewers keep overlooking is the composite bed in the Tacoma that won’t rust and doesn’t need any bed protection which to me it’s a big deal.

That is something that we have discussed a lot on our long term 2024 Tacoma we had last year. It has its up and its downs. We have noticed some rattling, but ours didn’t with the factory spray in bed liner. Almost every tundra with the composite bed that we have tested, rattles. That being said, this Trailhunter didn’t rattle which is awesome. Thanks for watching.

Not really the XLT is more than enough to take on the th. The payload blows the th away! All the extra gimmicks can be retrofitted onto the Ranger at a substantial savings which can be used for the most important item on any truck: fuel. A big fail on Toyotas part for not making the th with a higher payload and a useable back seat

9:00 did you mount the rack on the mold itself or did you buy bed cap spacers shims? cuz that mold is flexing so much. its written on cap warning to not mount accessories on the mold itself.

It'll be good for Ram to come out with a vehicle in this class. Shame that midsized trucks cost what you could get a decent full size for not too long ago. Hopefully more makes will also come out with trucks in compact size. More competition the better. Joke what trucks go for now.

Thanks for the comparison. Goes to show just how ridiculous toyota is for changing $25k more for a factory modified truck. The only reason I would even consider a toyota, is the availability of an extended cab and 6 foot bed!

Agreed. Ranger is 1711 lbs the th is 1245 lbs with 6' bed. Th is a joke of a payload.
