As more people start using Motion I think everyone is realizing this is the most complete series for learning motion.

Love these tutorials. Very well put together, easy to follow and relevant. Thanks. The only difficulties I have had following are due to changes in the Motion interface as I am starting with a later release.

Thanks for the kind words. I agree theres a bit of interruption in flow due to the version differences. My apologies. I had been waiting for apple to release a new version to hopefully get ahead of this problem but seems it has backfired as a new release hasn't been announced officially yet. Thanks for checking out these lessons. -Stan

Dude, these are awesome. Thank you so much for these tutorials. I’m coming from an AE background and I’ve been wanting to learn Motion because I use FCPX, these tutorials are making it simple. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
@AVUltra5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Incidentally that’s why I started doing these. I’m an adobe certified trainer and saw motion and realized I could do about 85% in motion and it perfectly integrates with fcp. I’m just now finishing the outlines for a whole new set of lessons that cover the more typical uses lime stabilization, proper compositing, and other vfx items. Glad to hear you have liked them. It’s challenging to make them approachable to everyone as some people will understand keyframes animation and other have never animated before so I strive to strike a balance.

Thanks for the compliment. Currently I'm working full time as a motion graphics artist and television producer so I just haven't had the time to put those together. The hopefully good news is that I've decided to instead just keep building these lessons online and pack them in appropriate playlists as the classes. I would love to honestly take a month off and just build the classes but right now- that's not an option. If there's anything you are looking to specifically learn feel free to drop me a line and if it's broad enough I'll likely cover it. Thanks again- and apologies I can't offer more at this time. -Stanislaw

I have the latest version of Apple Motion and the 'alt option' to change the slide in bracket doesn't seem to work - is there a different way to adjust this?
@AVUltra7 жыл бұрын
Hi there- Can you be a little more specific, i'm not sure to what exactly you are referring to. Apologies for the issues. -Stanislaw Luberda AV-Ultra
@FlashPointHx7 жыл бұрын
In this video you have a test behavior "slide in" on the Apple Motion text. You make them slide in one word at a time. Then you hit the Alt / Option key to slide the sequence bar back and forth to make the words stream in at different rates per word. But when I hit the Alt / Option key it didn't work. You also hit the Alt key to highlight a particular line - this didn't work for me either. I have version 5.4
@AVUltra7 жыл бұрын
Ah I see now. Well after testing it right now- between 5.4 and 5.3.1 it looks like they have totally disabled it! Thats really unfortunate as it was a great fast way to visually adjust it. Sorry about that- I myself had no idea thats now gone in this version. I also dont see the change in the official documents anymore. Here's hoping they bring it back. Thanks for watching and thanks for bringing this up! -Stanislaw

In either the Timeline panel or in the Layer panel there is a little gear icon, make sure thats enabled, then twirl down any of the layers in either window to view your behaviors.

Hello, Could you help me, please. I'm trying to animate my simple text. Is there any possibility to change the speed of single character appearing in the whole text? For example, I'm adding the blur behaviour to my text and I want to change the speed of text appearing just in the end of the word (not in the whole word or line). Thanks in advance.
@AVUltra6 жыл бұрын
Without seeing how your project is set up, I dont really have a good way to help you. You should be able to adjust the speed of your behavior in the inspector or by dragging the behavior. -S
@Veel16 жыл бұрын
@@AVUltra imgur.com/G6wk1Cn here is the example. As you can see I selected the Blur In behavior would appear by character. However, I want to control that the end of the text "ext", for example, would blur in a bit later. Is that possible?
@AVUltra6 жыл бұрын
Theres a few different options, You could adjust the text animation sequence, You could use a separate duplicated mask layer and animate it separately as a matte. Again- without actually having the project, I cant really offer too much assistance. In your particular example you can just adjust the variances and the beginning/end offset.
@Veel16 жыл бұрын
