Collei was one of the doctor's experiments saved by the knights of favonius... in a way her consciousness is connected to the doctor (we can assume a part of the doctors body parts is inside her. the doctor takes parts of himself and implants it on puppets and turns them into copies of himself. Collei is one of his failed experiments) so she may get a glimpse of the thoughts of the doctor... so the burning of sumeru is one of the doctors plans and she caught a glimpse of it... we may see for the first time the destruction of an entire nation since Sumeru is literally the only nation that is based on a nation in the real world that is no longer in existence (mesopotamia). all other nations in teyvat have their real life counterpart country that still exists. only sumeru does not.

I may be wrong but I think that Sumeru is based on both India and the Middle East. Sumeru is a mountain mentioned in Hindu Mythology and the name of the archon quest (truth amongst the pages of the Purana) alludes to a specific set of literature written in classical India. The name of the god Kusanali comes from Kusanali-Jataka a poem in the Jataka tales. Also sages (rishi) were extremely influential in ancient India and were treated with respect even by the kings as getting cursed by sages was not fun. Also sages were known to be the most educated and knowledgeable as mentioned in the first line of this trailer. As for the middle eastern part I think it is based more on the Islamic middle east and not ancient Mesopotamia. You know probably correlated Sumeru with Sumer but a Mesopotamian based country would probably not name their god kusanali of all things. Given that the house of wisdom existed in Baghdad during medieval times and Sumeru is very much themed around wisdom. Islamic middle east is likely a better option over Ancient Sumer

We literally got to see mosques in the sneak peek and a temple in this video. The names are a mix of both Arabic and Indian names. The clothes are mostly from Middle East. I don't think any of it is based on Mesopotamia alone. Because in Hindu mythology Sumeru is the name of a mountain which is also the abode of gods. And in the medieval times India had really great scholars and education was very advanced of its times. People came from afar to learn in Nalanda University which was later destroyed. So this might be a reference to that. And also partly mesopotamia may be possible but Islamic culture did not exist at that time. So Sumeru is based on both India and Middle East

There is a total of 11 harbingers, there were 10 on the video: Sandrone (marionette), Pulcinella (rooster), Pantalone (regrator), Arlecchino (The Knave), Tartaglia (Childe), Pierro (The Jester), Columbina (Damslette), Capitano (the captain), Dottore (The Doctor) and La signora (The fair lady or mayne the ash lady now). The only one missing is Scaramouche (Balladeer) which based on the leaks, he will show up in Sumeru.

Collei is originally from the Genshin manga that released in 2018 . She was experimented as a child by the Fatui Harbringer Il Dottore , she eventually escaped and made her way to Mondstat during the previous Ludi Harpastum where the Knights of Favonius helped , and she grew really close to Amber . Lisa reached out to the Sumeru academia to help Collei recover from the experiments , Cyno being the one who came to take her to Sumeru . The manga also shows a ton more plot relevant events such as : how Diluc' father died and why he doesn't like Kaeya , the fall of the Lawrance clan and the founding of the Knights of Favonius , which are connected since , Vanessa , the original Grandmaster of KOF was a former slave of the Lawrence clan since she was a Muratan ( same clan as the Pyro Archon ) , and how Vanessa reached fucking Celestia , giving us the only shot of what actually is on Celestia that we have

From the dialogue in this it seems Dottore made clones of himself in different stages of his life . And it also seems prime Dottore is busy conducting an "experiment" by burning down that giant tree , while the one at funeral is on the younger side of his versions . I'm guessing the manga version was Dottore in his early 20s , funeral Dottore was in his late 20s and prime Dottore at the end Dottore in his 30 , with probably a much older version existing somewhere too

This is making me remember a scene in Honkai, where Fuhua talked to Himeko about "sacrifice is inevitable", which our red-head Sensei replied: "You really don't know what "sacrifice is inevitable" means, girl." It's kinda true, since we can see all the Fatui keep saying about sacrifice this and that for Tsaritsa's "noble and purest dream." All their actions affected too many people, even destroying their lives and family around. Those people are not given a choice, they were forced by the Fatui to "sacrifice" which is so wrong in many levels. "What's tragic is not how many people have sacrificed, but the thought of sacrificing people makes one think it's necessary."

At 3:52 I believe this is Columbina (Damselette) asking Dottore (The Doctor) "where's the Segment in the prime of his life?". Notice how they capitalize "Segment" in the subs? Segment seems to be another way to say clone in this context. This then cuts to Dottore's prime "Segment" burning down a large tree in what looks to be a sacred Sumeru tree, hence the word "blasphemy". This is all speculation - I could be wrong.

my jaw dropped when i realized it was the fatui, i recognized zhongli and venti's gnosis on the board and i was like "who has their gnosis? the fatui, duh?!" the fact that the fatui's (harbingers) designs are released is so exciting, i can't wait for us to encounter each and every one (except childe & scara ofc, we've seen them haha) i'm glad that they had this "ceromony" for signora, atleast they gave her service a bit of respect and pride. all of them looks so cool, and we got a bit of speculation on what the possible aura, soundtrack, and theme of snezhnaya would be...

Due to the old man having a similar mask and the same stars in his eyes as Dainsleif I am going to assume he is from Khanri'ah , which would in turn make him The First Harbringer , Pierrot The Fool , who is hinted in the lore of the pale flame set

1) The elf looking guy is the one we saw in tevyat chapter guide. I think out of all 10 harbingers, he's the good one, well but who knows only story tells us. 2) the one who talked about Northland bank is REGRATOR, who we talked about in yelan's quest. 3) the masked lady who was mourning at Signora coffin,by the colors I can say she'll be in fontaine chapter. 4) at last I was confused between el dottore being no. 1 harbinger, but nah someone more powerful with half a mask is the actual leader 5) we saw one blonde harbinger who's sitting in a ruin guard like structure. They both come in pairs.i mean in the 10 harbingers, 9th one being the blonde and 10th one is the ruin machine. Reminds me of lumine. 6) the tree el dottore burned looks a lot like a tree from sumeru and collei is calling him a doctor? Sus. 7) ig this situation takes place in rainforest part and tinghari(forest officer) is the one who saves her. We saw the hut in sumeru trailer. Guess they're going with webtoon plot. 8) one thing I noticed that it's really cold that even the hanging cloths inside the castle started to crystalise. Ig snezhnaya is gonna be a cold place Indeed.
