Team fortress 2 doesn't buffer your jumps like in quake and half life 1, so you have to jump in the exact frame you land.

severely capped but yeah it's possible. You can get up to 20% your base speed, but it can be useful as spy to close the distance to backstab people

No it doesnt. Bhopping is an acellerated airstrafe and you jump on the frame that your hitbox would connect with the floor, you time the jump so you never "hit the floor" and you continue your airstrafe. Tf2 has a velocity correction algroithm so your strafe speed always gets reset when you hit the ground no matter the airspeed or timing.

Yea and no It's heavily toned down compared to what bhopping in source can be, but it still does provide a small boost that in niche scenarios (like the one in the video) can help out, but it's normally not worth the risk of messing up a bhop to use it all the time like you would in counter strike
