SoundSmith WASN'T joking when he said the Pyrobotics Pack was an atrocious cosmetic. In the Demo episode, he said unlike the Pyrobotics Pack, the Battery Bandolier is actually fucking good. And in the Medic episode, he noticed the Medic's Mech-Bag, and was INSTANTLY reminded of the Pyrobotics Pack, accompanied by him saying "NOT THIS SHIT AGAIN!". So when SoundSmith said the Pyrobotics Pack was an atrocious cosmetic that has no reason to exist, he MEANT it. You're obviously buying it just to spite him.

Sir Turtle soldier has limited ammo, slow reload times, and time between rockets fired. Pyro has virtually infinite ammo, a constant stream of damage and no reloading mechanic at all. People hate that you can hold down your mouse forever with pyro and get free kills. Soldier isn’t an especially difficult class, but dodging rockets really isn’t that hard as opposed to a million flame particles.

“W+m1 takes skill now because you have to aim now”~ every pyro main after jungle inferno. No, it doesn’t. If that was true then I could equip the machina. Fully charge body shot every time, and it takes skill because I have to aim it. Nope can’t argue I have to aim so it takes skill.

W+M1did kinda take the knowledge of "swinging back and forth on a target somehow kills them faster". Sadly, I didn't know about it until after Blue Moon, where it was removed. Also...I've honestly found W+M1 is worse after Jungle Inferno, but my ping has been pretty shite, so that's probably why.

The only skill needed for W+M1 is to press W and M1, that is literally it. You don't need to think, you don't need to aim at all as the flamethrower hitbox is super big.

Pyro is just utter garbage as a combat class now unless you have Sketchek-level skills to keep up with average damage of other combat classes. People: * use airblasts for stunlocks followed by combo secondary and melee attacks to justify the close-range, *INTENDED BY VALVE* lethalness of the Pyro. (check the developer commentary on Pyro if you don't get what I'm talking about)* Valve: Lol fuk u its unfair use w+m1 instead Valve: * fixes W+M1 so it's somewhat dangerous now but still limited in range. * People: * play W+M1 instead because it's easy and it barely loses in damage to Degreaser + Flare Gun shenanigans.* Valve: Lol fuk u its unfair a class we wanted to be the most lethal class in close range shouldn't kill things fast and we don't care that pyro does jack shit outside of close range and this is what compensated their strength Valve: * breaks the shit out of flamethrowers so that they are still braindead easy to use but do less damage than goddamn SMG, Pistol and Revolver at *POINT BLANK* range. * Please, tell me I'm not the only one thinking like this...
