I have to immediately disagree that the gas passer is "more overpowered" than scottish resistance and explosive headshot. You portray gas as something that you can get back with just a melee swing, but it takes 750 damage to get it back. Yes, this is at most 5 seconds of burning anything, and that timer goes down with crits, recharge upgrades, and damage upgrades, but it is at minimum 300 damage. Unless you are using crit canteens, you DO need ammo, or you're going to get shredded by any bot that uses a gun far before you get that 300. Now, granted, the gas passer is far easier than scottish resistance trapping or explosive headshot. However, the other OP tools have more power than gas. The scottish resistance requires you to have the foresight of knowing when a giant is coming, but unlike the gas passer (that always deals 350), you cantrash a crit csnteen to deal thousands of damage, potentially instantly killing lesser giants, and leaving the stronger ones with a limp. While it is harder and costlier, it can provide more value. Sniper's explosive headshot has a similar effect to explode on ignite, albeit with a smaller radius and lower damage. However, you can shoot way faster than the pyro can gas. With reload upgrades, you can put out 10 or more explosive headshots before the pyro can bring out the canister for another toss. Some bots, like scouts, are very hard to headshot, but a pyro wouldn't ever use gas on a swarm of scouts. If there's something big I'm overlooking, feel free to let me know.

When I said more overpowered then those two, I meant in terms of swinging it around and the fact that the pyro can basically throw it any corner without really worrying that much for line of sight. Demo and the sniper kind of do, they have a limit. I also specified that if a demo misses even one medic, he's fucked if the medic ubers later on. The pyro's gas, as I said, remains like an invisible cloud for an extra 3 seconds and you can potentially gas a lot of robots in the field. It is more forgiving for your mistakes, which means you'll most likely do more factual wise. He doesn't even have to aim most of the time, for Christ sake. However, my opinion will still stay the same. If you know how to swing it, play it, utilize it. You can basically bombard the field like nuclear bomb. However, this is also a 50/50 situation where I will also have to agree with you and admit that you are also RIGHT (shocking, isn't it?) BECAUSE my own brother, who religiously plays sniper, truly is a marvelous man in his field and despite losing most of line of sight he did more damage then me when passing the gas and I am a chaotic gas passer. For me, I still believe that pyro can utilize it far more efficiently, quicker, and not to mention far more chaotically then any other class. My thought on that matter won't change and your own won't change either. Kudos to you, my friend. I'll leave a like to your comment.

@@TalesOfSaphiraWC3 Thanks for communicating clearly! Honestly, in terms of small-bots, I will agree that the gas passer is more effective than a sticky piles or a hitman explosive headshot. The main things that I wanted to clear up is that you can't fill the meter with one jack hit (at minimum, 5 hits or 2 while crit-boosted) and that it isn't as destructive against giant robots as the video makes it out to seem. The damage you deal from gas is equivalent to one crocket, crit sticky, crit pipe, or 0.6 seconds of sustained fire from a minigun. Compared to the damage that phlog and backburner can deal to a single target (enough to charge phlog in less than a second WITHOUT recharge upgrades) and you're better off holding off on the can and gluing your finger to the M1 key. I don't think that explode on ignite is "balanced." I just feel like a lot of people demonize it to portray pyros who use gas as evil imps that want to ruin the fun for everyone. (you shouldn't demonize a player for playing optimally. That would be like hating a soldier for using beggar's & conch or a medic for using the ubersaw) I just wanted to talk about how I felt you exaggerated how powerful phlog is at everything, when it definitely does have shortcomings. (This is just a personal thing, but PLEASE just use phlog. You are leaving tons of tankbusting and giantburning potential on the table for airblast and faster gassing, and even though gas is busted, you still have a primary that is responsible for burning everything in the game that isn't killed by a click on the head. Okay, Degreaser rant over.) Thanks for communicating is the main thing I want to convey. There are people who only want to live in their little world and be right about everything. Sharing opinions with each other is how we learn things, and I'm glad you went in with a discussion instead of just smearing me as a Psychopathic Gasser that loves watching MvM burn (on a related note, that little thing you said about "gassing the jews" may just be a joke, but it really makes it seem like you are casting people who use gas as similar to Nazis. I'm not saying you did, but you should be careful around edgy jokes like that. A simple little "I'm not saying gas pyros are Nazis" or just not placing it directly after describing what someone who uses gas is like. I don't know, I'm not the one who made the video, I just watched it, and that part really set me off. Okay, Probably shouldn't rant twice in one comment, but I typed this much already, so i'm not gonna bother changing it.)

Yes to the first, I do make jokes and I don't care what kind of jokes they are. If I had to put a video together where I am using the gas passer or even playing the medic using WW2 references and lines regarding Gas Chambers and so on (which I am really surprised that KZbin hasn't censored for some reason, probably because it's not dark footage and game-play footage), you'd be surprised by the amount of jokes I make on the regular. That's me totally not giving a fuck. As for this 'sub count' being near flat 10k, etc. I am not sub-botting, I don't know what sub-botting is and the biggest experience I have ever, ever had with using bots in my life is 'Discord Bots' and let me assure you that any retard can do that, anybody. As for KZbin sub-botting? Don't know what that is whatsoever. My biggest viewed videos on KZbin and the biggest source of my subscription are due to my Majora's Mask videos which are basically clips of the Moon Falling with random footage in it, hence why my icon is a smiling Majora's Moon. I am going to work on a Majora's Moon video again sometimes in the future as a thank you to those people and their love for those videos. But that's, honestly, why I am have so much subscriptions. At least what I know off...
