Great review. After owning 16 Corvettes I bought a 2023 1LT with zero options in July. After 2 months and 2,800 miles, hands down the best Vette I've ever driven. Fantastic car and with unbelievable bang for the buck. I miss nothing of from the higher trim levels or performance options.

You can actually get them for MSRP now it is just hard ro find one without any added option as most dealers add extra features but it still MSRP. If you want to pay $62k for the lowest options you most likely have to build and order it and all you’ll pay is the delivery cost and taxes/fees. Also the amount of 2024 C8 Stingrays is insane so you’ll see them sitting at or below msrp next year. You will also see used stingrays for $50s on the lowest trims. The Z06 and E-Ray will be the ones holding the value now.

One thing to know about Corvettes is that for the first couple of years GM works on fixing everything that keeps breaking. After year 3 or 4 they perfect the model they have. 1LT is OK for some drivers. I have 2LT and super happy with blind spot alerts, front cameras, camera rear view mirror, memory seats which goes back when you need to get out of the car, etc etc ... and 20 other things. If you can swing an extra 5K it is way worth it.
@JoshsWorld Жыл бұрын
The only features I miss in my 1LT are blind spot monitoring and heated/cooled seats. But I don't miss them as much as I would miss the $7000 to go up to the 2LT. That color is sick. The corvette museum is pretty cool to pick up your car from.

They are very nice looking cars no doubt ..Yet my Performance Model 3 Tesla is 10k cheaper, has a backseat and will out accelerate this car..........

While the 1LT is nice, I have to say the value for money for the 2LT makes it feel like a must buy unless you are REALLY scraping by to get the car. In which case maybe wait to buy the car. Heated and vented seats, improved sound system, power retracting mirrors, cargo nets, heated steering wheel, heads up display, induction phone charger, power lumbar and bolster on the seats, performance data recorder, memory seats, home link. You get SO much with it for a reasonable $7K more. In older models (I know 20-22, not sure about 23) you didn't get the blind spot alert or rear view camera unless you got the 2LT/3LT. They are so important that it made it a little crazy to get the 1LT. I know they have been made standard in the '24 MY, because they really are that important in a car with such poor visibility.

A friend ordered one a 2023 with ABSOLUTELY no options. white. Paid window sticker no markup. Dealership said fine..It was built In about 2 months and he’s had it a year..

You should be able to order crank down windows…or at least the option of both.

It's a GM so you don't have to worry about preserving it as a collectable. The electronics will probably leave it bricked after 500 miles.

I like the fact they’ve removed/diminished that clamshell affect on the sides and hood and otherwise softened some of the hard edges. IMHO the 2024 looks way better than earlier models.

I think it's literally the exact same design as 2020. no spoiler i think softens the back appearance, which I like. I had a zeus bronze 2020, paid 62k or so (plus tax). awesome car

The more basic an auto is the less to break down in the future, high tech gadgets are prone to fail as it ages, this car is the perfect drivers car.

It's not too basic for me.....I like the color, too

Unless you order one - you won't find a 1LT anywhere. They basically don't make them. They like the markups on the upscaled trim - while still bragging about the lower starting price.

New vettes look more like European sports cars. Still prefer old vettes to new ones any day. So many silly features to break and fix. Don't like the wall between driver and passenger. For the money I'd rather spend a little more on a Lamborghini!

Some SoCal dealerships have A LOT OF these 1LTs in stock. I wonder if they could be purchased with LOWER THAN MSRP prices.
@LateNightDateNight Жыл бұрын
In SoCal these vehicles are a dime a dozen, the luster has been lost due to their mass production. Every time I see one I wonder if it’s a 2021 or 2022 where dude paid 20-30k over 😂
