It's all about that KZbin watch time revenue, short videos don't produce revenue.
@_J.P._6 ай бұрын
@@mpa1931 below 10 minutes and your revenue is next to nothing. Over 10 minutes and you are in the green zone. Watch hours contribute to it as well as sub count. Last but not least is viewer retention meaning how long people actually keep watching. If many skip and/or leave soon you can have everything else in the upper half yet YT will pay you little again. The YT content creation rules are crazy and TBH I am still surprised that people can make any money off of KZbin to actually bother doing videos. So if you do a "straight to the point" video that will be about 2-3 minutes long you can forget to ever get any money from YT :D I mean like literally never. Even if the video will have one day tons of views then it will be collected over the course of many years plus you won't have a steady production to keep up with YT rules of monetization. Simply because short videos are being skipped the same like long videos except when you have a short video then the skipping will hurt your statistics way more as if you had a redundand yet longer video. Crazy that if you think YT (and other platforms) want you to waste time and if you create opportunities to waste others time you get rewarded in the end. Ridiculous...

I love Bar Keeper's Friend for a lot of tasks. It cleans burned stains out of Corning Ware cookware (cassarole pans) really well if you use them in a really hot oven and meat juices get burned on. By the way, TFLnow, I love your local hardware store! Hard to find a store like that nowadays. I so want to go right out to the garage right now and try this on my 2007 VW Jetta Fahrenheit's pipes. They're black as coal - never been cleaned in 12 years, so you shouldn't feel too badly about only three years! Thanks for this video! And very interesting input from your friend, the mechanic in this video, so I thank him too.

Here’s what I’ve used on my ‘15 with great success. It’s called Mr.Metal. It’s a white cream very similar to what you used. The added benefit is that it has a protectant/wax in it that will help against further corrosion and help bead water, etc. I used a dot or two on an old microfiber towel and “floss” each tip. They always look better than new.

the boost may have something to do with the extra carbon, but VW's and audis have catalyst emissions control systems that work differently than the exhaust re-burn systems in every other car. the owners manual mentions some of the extra maintenance their emissions systems require, especially as they get older.

The chrome tip on my F-150 would more build up on it than the ones in this video. Very busy at work, but I would wash my truck once a week, as long as it wasn’t going to rain. Tried everything to get the black, burnt on residue off with no avail. Then, looking in a cabinet in my garage, I grabbed a can of a product and said to myself, “Let’s see if this works!”. Sprayed it all over the chrome tip and let it sit for around 15-20 minutes. Couldn’t believe how clean the chrome came out. Took a little bit of time to get the bottom clean, but not nearly as long as it took in this video. It’s a little messy, but I’ve tried so many products and haven’t seen anything that cleaned the chrome like this. One of these days I’m going to make a video of it and post it. Incredible how clean it got with not too much work. Sometimes I just use a couple of paper towels to clean it. You can’t use steel wool or something like that, it’s too abrasive and will scratch the chrome. People are probably wondering what it is. I should make the video to show what I use.
