( www.TFLcar.com ) Many of you pointed out that Mike's GTI had some nasty exhaust tips. Embarrassed by his carelessness, Mike decided to find out what causes that buildup, and the best way to clean it.
Special thanks to Harvey from The Boost Creep Ltd. Link to his site: www.theboostcre...

Cool video but thought it was a bit weird to go to a construction store instead of an automotive store. But that's just my professional opinion. But the solution worked!!! Unfortunately though, he could have grabbed something that could have left scoring and peel the outer fish on the exhaust tips. Very glad it worked out for him and the car!!!

there are few reasons of this. AFR is one of them. Second is direct injection (most probably directly injected fuel have not enough time to vaporise completly so is burning not so clean as vapour only) and last case is in VAG engines sooner or later oil consumption. VAG TSI ot TFSI engines are known from burning oil sooner or later more or less intense. First reason will be direct injection. Even if engine is normally aspirated but have GDI will have black tips. Same story I had in Lexus IS250 same problem have my parents in Mazda CX3. This is reason why some GDI engines need to have GPF (gasoline particle filter) to meet EURO6 norm.

It's all about that KZbin watch time revenue, short videos don't produce revenue.
@_J.P._
@_J.P._ 3 ай бұрын
@@mpa1931 below 10 minutes and your revenue is next to nothing. Over 10 minutes and you are in the green zone. Watch hours contribute to it as well as sub count. Last but not least is viewer retention meaning how long people actually keep watching. If many skip and/or leave soon you can have everything else in the upper half yet YT will pay you little again. The YT content creation rules are crazy and TBH I am still surprised that people can make any money off of KZbin to actually bother doing videos. So if you do a "straight to the point" video that will be about 2-3 minutes long you can forget to ever get any money from YT :D I mean like literally never. Even if the video will have one day tons of views then it will be collected over the course of many years plus you won't have a steady production to keep up with YT rules of monetization. Simply because short videos are being skipped the same like long videos except when you have a short video then the skipping will hurt your statistics way more as if you had a redundand yet longer video. Crazy that if you think YT (and other platforms) want you to waste time and if you create opportunities to waste others time you get rewarded in the end. Ridiculous...
