I don't realistically do heavy off roading. We have toys/alternate vehicles for that. That being said, I am very satisfied with my '22 Frontier SV. It's towed 5,000lbs + back and forth from PA-FL without a problem. Plenty of power. Transmission does a decent job engine breaking and is definitely noticeable for what it is. It's definitely not a big human back seat, but it totally works in a pinch. The steering wheel not telescope, but it's actually in my seating position so it's not a problem. I can confirm with you saying that I do not like how a forced induction engine drives. We do a TON of lighter weight towing with our off road toys, etc... and I know the turbo motor have power, mpg, etc, etc, etc... I will avoid it at all costs cus I genuinely dislike how they tow. In a little family car, fine. I just use my truck for truck-esque stuff too much and absolutely cannot stand the turbo engine. The linear speed, predictable power, and simplicity of a naturally aspirated engine will be my truck choice until it's no longer an option.

Not to mention the N/A V6. Andre said they've tested the small displacement with turbo engines before, one year & 10,000 miles is not testing. My 2008 F-150 has the 4.2 N/A V6 with a little over 200,000 miles on it. And that's 200,000 miles of hauling & towing on it with no issues at all. Wholly F! Take my money!!!! That Nissan Frontier Hardbody!!!! Had a 1986.5 Hardbody SEV6 5 speed 4x4 back in the day. It was the same color, same wheels.(different tires) It was NOT a 4door obviously. But what a truck! I miss it to this very day. I had a 1995 Pathfinder SEV6 4x4. Same colors, same wheels. Was fantastic as well! This NEW truck/trim is a must have for Nissan enthusiasts. Hell, I don't even need a truck anymore and want to go out and buy it and I am only 53 seconds into this video!

Nathan being from the San Fernando Valley explains a lot! Not a bad thing though. I got my driver's license at the Glendale DMV office in April 1972, driving a Datsun PL520. My wife, who was a Valley girl from James Monroe high school, bought a 1985 Ford Ranger 4wd new. Both trucks have changed so drastically for the better. I considered a midsize truck last year. But bought a Jeep JLU to tow behind our Ram 2500 4wd 6.7L with a 4wheel popup camper. Another great review, with lots of information not typically found elsewhere.

When it comes to trucks and cars I want normal sized screens none of this 10 inch or larger screens. Sure it's easier to use and see. But night driving it's distracting. My idea may not carry any support but I'd be okay with the screen being big when parked or backing up. But when driving it gets smaller to reduce to overall lighting. Even in dark mode it blinds me when someone calls. And only reason for it to be full sized backing up for the camera if it's available.

I put multiple performance upgrades on and it was a blast. In the end I traded it for a new Bronco bc despite all of that, the ranger was miserable on long distance trips. I like the manual rear window; many trucks now have either an electric rear window, or solid glass. The excuse was the rear was too big for the driver to reach and close while driving (in case of a gas attack, I guess), but clearly that isn’t the case as the rear of the ranger is just as big as many trucks that don’t offer it.

moreover this is an easy fix, Ford sells the cover (or at least did for the previous gen).
