Did you re-aim the ford headlights after you added the lift? If not, your headlights may be fine. They are just pointed up into the air. That’s why your fog lights were useful. But your high beams did nothing.

I’m excited to to see the no pavement needed videos. I wonder if any of them have camped out in the south in August. It’s not fun. The camper André is using might as well be a steam box. I hope the y think about the humidity. It doesn’t go away at night and the temperatures don’t drop like they do in the mountains.

Haha. Yeah that’s not going to be fun. I live in Alabama and whenever anybody asks me if I want to go tent camping June-Mid September here I just say hell no. That’s a terrible idea. If they’re in the smokies during that time and have a little altitude 4K-5k feet then it’s actually very pleasant but you don’t want to be in a tent in the south during that time. It might be ok if you have a nice fan blasting on you during the night and have some air moving.

@@wyattprothro7443 Well, WE are the outcasts apparently. I never air down my TRD 4Runner and it does superb. On stock tires. @jonathanmueller2849
@jonathanmueller2849 4 жыл бұрын
@@WW-wf8tu I'm not doubting your capability driving with normal tire pressure but it's pretty well known that airing down your tires increases the amount of contact it has with the ground, providing more traction (and yes, it can help absorb some of the bouncing). You may be able to do anything that you've done so far with normal pressure, stock tires but I'd be hesitant to brag about that. It speaks more to the lack of technical off-roading experience that you have than it does about everyone else's capabilities, or lack thereof, driving with fully inflated tires. But to be fair, a lot of people also really underestimate what stock vehicles are capable of.

Probably need to re aim the headlights on the ford with the camper installed. I think a 2 door with an 8 foot bed full size would have made a better platform, the extra 2 foot of bed might have gotten you a small bathroom in that camper and still end up with a shorter wheelbase.

@badgerpa9

You should check if the headlights are still aimed correctly since you put a lift in the jeep and the drof. Also if you are looking at lights having side lights to show if an animal is running along the vehicle is great and they are great for camp also id you set it up so the remote can turn them on if you hear something at night it is helpful; your not in bear territory I don't think but still helpful. Put a second tank on the thirsty sailor for fuel. Get a good air compressor and a tank installed underneath on the 250 so you can get enough air to fill tire if you loose a bead. Be safe, stay healthy

Your reaction to the guy having a gun was funny 😂 I carry one every day and don't leave home without it. Rather than it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Yeah...if he and his "team" were carrying, he'd probably not feel so intimidated... Regardless, it's likely that Roman (and the others) are not gun owners/carriers. In fact, they may be part of the reason CO is purple and not red. Conservative-leaning Colorado Springs is regularly outnumbered/outvoted by mostly liberal Boulder, Denver and Pueblo -- the people there are probably very much like those in Seattle and Portland -- ad look what's happened there. And spreading. Still lots of conservatives in CO (especially the rural counties) AND lots of pro-gun/pro-armed-citizen County Sheriffs, but probably not enough conservative/Republican voters to turn things around so CO's future may be blue. Hope not -- moving back there in October. ;-) -- BR

Be sure to tighten the hose and connector as they are only hand tight from the factory. About $200 all together with the clamp on powertank type handle (also a must have). Great video!

For the F250, you need to download Forscan, which is free, to program the truck to have both the brights and the fog lights on at the same time. Called Bambi mode. Also, take the air down to 20psi. I run 18psi in my 38's.

Love the series......TFL is the best channel on KZbin if you are looking for a truck.....Picked up a 2019 Brand New Silverado LTZ and I am loving it thanks to your reviews

You need some GTR Ultra 2 LED bulbs from Headlight Revolution..... I have them in my 2017 Ram 2500 and they are bright as hell

I have to say it’s a crime to not have taken the “Trail Boss” on these trails it’s the trucks name for god sake, wow... Just add the retrax pro xr bed cover with the tent ⛺️ on the bed cover rails and that’s.

Nothing like having someone along that likes to cook and people that like to eat. Fun, fun.

A good possible option to try to get rid of that hood glare on the gladiator when you use your A-pillar lights is to get a black matte finish whole hood wrap. I like the way it looks, i did it on my 14 raptor, but I understand the look is not everyone's cup of tea.

So the only off road vehicle not modified was the Land Rover and it made it ..... $$$ wasted? Like the wheel decision on the Jeep. Looking forward to this series, I got my Rebel and teardrop trailer to do this very trail. Come September I'll be doing the Georgia Off Road Adventure Trail (GOAT) as my shake down.
