The contrast between the two groups is what keeps them both individually interesting. You get the sense that they're both comprised of very different people, all with different values and ways of approaching a situation. At the same time, they both share some familiar elements, such as Eloy and Borky both being lovable air-heads, while Wake and Task are no-nonsense leaders. Granted, The Unexpectables and TFS at the Table aren't inherently connected to one another, outside of the fact that the latter campaign's DM is a PC in the former campaign (also pretty much everyone involved in both, barring Monty, all work together fairly regularly), but there are obviously going to be comparisons drawn based on the fact that they're both targeted to basically the same audience. These're just my thoughts that I've wanted to share for awhile.

The first DnD series I’ve ever watched. It’s a little past 1:30 am for me in England right now and after hearing about Kirran, Grant, and Zito leaving TFS it reminded me of Ben as well and god I don’t know why but I’m just really emotional right now. I loved TFS’s content and watched it pretty much every day for years and they all meant a lot to me as I dealt with high school, starting college, having a kid at 19, and joining the Air Force to try and provide for my little family. I know as time goes on people change and move on with their lives but these videos will always mean so much to me. Thanks guys.

Great stuff. If I could make one suggestion - and one that I wouldn't be surprised if you're already working on it - would be to add an overhead view so we could maybe get a better view of the rolls and the map. It's a small thing, and the show would be fine without it (this episode was great without it), but that'd be my suggestion. Like I said, I love this and look forward to more.

The main thing that bothered me is that they didn't introduce their characters to us before they began the session. Like, right before this, I was watching outsidexbox play D&D, which is the first ever session of D&D I've ever watched someone play. They introduced their characters beforehand, explained races and skills and backstories. I finished their three episodes, then got super excited when I saw in the suggestion bar to the right that TFS had finally made a D&D session, but got a bit disappointed when they didn't introduce their characters before they started. I felt like it would be better if we got to know their characters before the big quest started up.

So we tried to get in nice with a local church and he was antagonizing everything and everyone we tried to talk and do. Which lead to us getting kicked out of town and being ambushed and killed by some followers of a god we pissed off. He was known for doing stuff like this in other sessions with guys in my group so we voted and kicked him out.

Its 2024 and i still keep coming back to this series. TFS was my main intro to 5e (played 3.5/pathfinder for over a decade) even before i found the CR crew. Started watching this series around session 5 and followed it to the end. What a crazy ride. This will always be a gem to me.
