It is dumb that they do this, yes, but this is no different than higher payout. The panther statue doesn't do anything special, it's a macguffin for you to steal worth X amount. So yes, dumb that they're doing it but i wouldn't call it locking "content" behind a paywall. If it were certain vehicles, heists, or properties you could ONLY access through gta+ I'd say you are correct.

I'd say this only really affects people who still have things they want/need to buy. for the rest of players who have been stocking up millions upon millions, not being able to tick the number up that much faster isn't gonna be a huge direct issue, other than the ethical dilemmas with this development. Don't get me wrong though, GTA+ is one of the stupidest things in the video game industry today, an utter shameless cashgrab from people already sitting within mansions made entirely of the money they've made off shark card sales. A true testament to greed.

My question would be, say you were to do a 2 player Cayo Perico with 1 of the people having no cooldown and the other having the normal 3 day cooldown, what would happen if they were to try and run back to back cayo pericos? I have GTA+ and my mate who doesn’t have it usually do setups in my Invite only sessions and he say’s he’s Cayo cooldown is 45 minutes like mine. I originally thought the Cooldown to start it on Hard mode was 2 hours 25 minutes. Can anyone confirm the what the actual cooldown is?

I bailed from GTA a week or 2 after GTA+ dropped but always watch TGG videos. Each week since I stopped playing, Rockstar release dogwater weekly updates & dumb stuff like cars or whatever, it's a constant reminder to not play this game anymore. I've done more than 20 straight Cayo Heists that were all the Tequila Bottle. Also, it seems like I only get half as many secondaries as I used to. I thought there was supposed to be a deal where you don't get the bottle over and over again. Cayo just kinda sucks now and they haven't made the other heists any better either.

I think the way to developers were looking at it, was in a sense of giving you an option to pay less to get the same effect of Shark cards if you put in the work. Before you could just use the cards to get in-game cash which cost you probably more over time than paying a monthly fee. With this in mind they decided to add one of the best features in the game to it to entice a specific demographic of players, the ones who are more likely to not already spending real cash on cards. It was to give them the option, if they have to fortitude that is, to run the heist consecutively to make up the funds that paying for Shark cards would have It's an odd move because they would get paid probably more with individuals spending cash on cards versus a subscription, but either way this screws over the free to play players... and gives a more potentially rewarding / difficult option to those looking to spend real cash on this game, or pay to win as some would prefer it as Me personally, it's kind of hard to look at a console game from a Pay to Win perspective as I would a mobile app. It's otherworldly me dropping $100 to get 14,000 gems in Clash Royale, granted it would help me max out my account. In that scenario it be better just to get that monthly pass, and grind. Not sure but I think GTA was trying to take a Chapter out of that notion, granting access to more difficult content or tedious at least in exchange for better reward, but also at a financial buy-in to lock out certain individuals who do not see interest in supporting your platform as a game creator, in this particular case Rockstar. Don't really agree with this notion overall, spewing over into console gaming, but it was coming eventually...I fear this is only the beginning, and the first game of many

I laughed (in myself) at him, because having a small modmenu such as Kiddion's, you can have everything for free and more.. for free. I haven’t even played the Cayo Perico Heist once yet. Didn’t Rockstar Buff all the previous Heist’s payouts substantially with the last DLC? If that’s the case offering x2 and x1.5 bonuses shouldn’t be a bad payout. And having a cooldown on robbing the same establishment makes sense. I’m planning on running thru all the heists during this month-long event.

Me and my friend always play diamond casino duos and we always want artwork because we can get the hole vault with art and we get like 1m each with 50 50 and normally we do it like 2 or 3 times a day and we both said it up at the same time so that’s sometimes 4 mil sometimes 6 mil a day. Agreed. Obviously GTA+ members deserve perks for the 70 dollars they spend on it a year. But I have played gta for years and have NEVER gotten the statue, I missed the events a few years back and now it feels like I won’t ever have an opportunity to get it. Rockstar should give everyone a small chance to get the statue for the yearly heist month tradition and give GTA+ members an almost guaranteed statue every time. That seems fair. Also the cool down disable for members is so counterintuitive as the whole reasons the cool down was buffed was to encourage team work rather than solo. I get it rockstar, I wanna make millions of dollars with my business as well and I’m not afraid to step over people to do it. But GTA is the definition of a video game classic and GTAV is an absolute masterpiece. To be fair cayo perico is still available. Yes we won't get the panther statue but the heist can still get you a tonne of money if you're willing to put the work in. I remember when gta online first came out. I would have loved to have had the cayo perico heist available at the time. A heist you can do yourself without needing to rely on other people.

Not to criticise but people like Mr Boss seem to have release dates for gta 6 every single day for click bait. TGG only does videos on factual points or important points so you know if there's a video out it should be fairly relative. If I see some "news" on gta I check to see if TGG has done a video and if not I know it's only speculation. I prefer less content with me quality personally

It's not removing 2h24m cooldown until you can start the new heist, it removes 3 IRL days cooldown until you can get better chances on valuable primary target

To bypass the 3 days cooldown just do the heist with a friend and give them 15 % cut. You will only have a cooldown of 1 day. Plus you will recive more money since you and your friend can grab more secondary targets.
