I would like to note that IPs being leaked, while extremely dangerous, cannot lead to swatting on its own. IPs only give a very rough location (usually a 100-200 mile radius depending on your city) and is definitely not enough on its own to allow for someone to find where you live exactly. You'd need other information such as names or phone numbers to run through registries to find an exact address to Swat someone.

@@Ariffin958 it's not really a glitch. You just pause the game, all your connections time out and are lost and you lose connection. Same thing sometimes just happens regularly. Someone's intetnet goes out, you have a latency spike, etc. It's not really a patchable glitch unless rockstar wants to constantly boot players from the game for having unstable internet.

There is no excuse over it. Gta online on pc is unplayable unless you go in closed friend sessions which ruins so much of the atmosphere of them game. Modders have single handedly ruined the game for me and most of my friends to the point where we just gave up on it at this point its so sad.

I've always preferred to be by myself the Atmosphere of real life is if you're doing a Drug Run no one knows what you're doing unless you've really got the Feds stalking your operation with Thermal Goggles and shit. Do a Drug Run in GTA and every single Person in the Session gets a Phone Alert to what you're doing, lol there is no Atmosphere. It should be you kind of accidentally stumble on someones Operation or you could also grief there Operation by doing Recon on a Specific Player all that Phone Alert bullshit is lame as fuck.

The report system sends a ping through the user that gets reported. That ping can be disabled with a single line of code. Every mod menu just simply has it by default.

I wouldn't consider the solo public session to be a "glitch"- rather it's simply because GTA Online operates using mesh networking. What you're actually doing by suspending your game process is disconnecting yourself from the other players, and it shows up as them leaving your session. All your Online connection is directly from player to player rather than a central server. It's also why modders/cheaters are such an epidemic, since there's no central server to verify the data being sent back and forth.
