I’m not so sure. Yes, there are churches that don’t show God’s love, or are petty and bickering, but there are a great number of churches that walk the walk (and I’m not just talking about feeding the homeless and helping the downtrodden). Many churches do show Christ’s love for each other and for their community. It’s easy to criticize churches because they’re filled with fallible humans, who will always fall short of Christ’s ideal. Too many times I’ve seen unbelievers say that they won’t go into a church because it’s “filled with hypocrites”, but that’s a cop-out. Of course it’s filled with hypocrites, but so is the world. How many environmentalists drive SUVs or fly jets around the world. How many celebrities go on TV to get money for the homeless or for disaster victims while continuing to live in luxury?

I would be what’s called an agnostic but you can not deny the beauty and great lyrics of Don Francisco. Adam, gotta tell somebody and this would be some of my favourites. Growing up in a war area with daily bombings we had a local church building that had pool table and table tennis we would go there every day and they played Don tapes. Was brilliant times and by couple weeks we knew every word and used to ask for requests haha.

i enjoy this song...i remember when I first heard it it made a lot of good points about what a lot of evangelical churches become.....we need the Word of God and the Spirit of God not some programs, dont mater if its forty days of purpose or joel osteen er paperback Bibles , no what matters is the pure Word of God being followed out of love for God!

Wow, I was raised in a Pentecostal church. Don F was the music that represented the word. I stopped believing many years ago because it all seemed so rediculous. I would tell my family, it's hard to believe when not only do you gave to argue against "The World", but also argue if you even believe in Jesus the right way. To see all these arguments against this brilliant artist about if he "believes" right or not just goes to further the my peace that it's all nonsense. Keep fighting, Christians, it helps us previous believers remember why we don't. Lol

I have read the link and believe, sadly, that DF has been led astray (if it is correct) if he believes that the Bible is not 100% accurate. But this man, as you can see by his songs, LOVES God very much. And his songs are not tainted. He is, as we all are, sinners. All I have to say is that we should ALL pray for him and his wife, that they will see the truth, that their eyes will be opened, and that they will no longer be influenced by those who are NOT Godly and teaching things untrue. We are ALL fallible. Only God and His word are infallible. I will pray for them both. because this song speaks the truth and moves my heart so much. Along with "He's Alive" ... two of my favorite DF songs. And they always will be. I hope he turns back to see the truth. But just because a person errs, does not mean they lose their salvation. That is a gift from God that the inerrant Bible tells us cannot be taken away! Praise the Lord!!

The HOLY SPIRIT came to me at a very young age and let me see that I was a SINNER in need of THE SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST.
