News like this is huge for our community. Thank you. I’m a part of the M&C drama as I have one MW and 2 outstanding GMK sets with them… I’m super frustrated because one of the GMK sets already are in extras elsewhere and are sold out so I might not get the chance to repurchase.. this really sucks hopefully they come clean soon.

My guess that if the set is in-stock/in-hand they end up selling them as extras in the coming weeks for cash flow. As everyone but their shipping department has quit, there will be no refunds. If you purchased in the group buy phase, you are probably out of dispute window and they will just keep your order open indefinitely while selling off your set. In your situation I'm not sure what your best options are, if you are within chargeback window for some you might be able to claw some back but they would likely keep the rest of your money without shipping anything. I'm waiting to see if they do an extras sale for the set I already orders and paid for and if I'm in the chargeback window will just re-order with a different account with discount code on a credit card with good protections.

The MTNU is nothing but an exact copy of the XDA profile but in Cherry's housings. And GMK will now charge $300 for these. Much innovation.

Also, regarding the Mechs & Co thing, really shameful to see this happening, and even worse so, their completely lack of transparency and decision to just mute their entire Discord server due to the complaints and criticisms. I myself have only one GB active with them (GMK NTD, which supposedly they DID actually pay for), but man oh man, I would be PISSED if I was one of those customers who may be out $1200 because of this whole mess. Some people are theorizing that a lawsuit may be coming as a result of this, and that M&C will just attempt to declare bankruptcy to avoid litigation, which would also mean everyone who gave them money for products that haven't been finished will officially be screwed out of their purchases. And chargebacks I think usually have a 6-month time limit, so since some of these projects are going on 24 months now, that wouldn't even be an option either.

As a DSA enjoyer, I'm glad there'll be more spherical profile keycaps on the market, although I'll probably always prefer keycaps all of the same height simply for the way it makes custom layouts much easier.

Yeah MW has a lot of keycap sets with Mechs and Co. Two months ago Mechs and Co actually offered to take over GBs that were ran through another vendor that went radio silent

There is the same issue than with Mech&Co with MyKeyboardEU It’s less worse but they still did not pay GMK and there are huge delay on refunds and delivery

Dude thank you for doing this. Been wondering what's up with Mechs & Co, and their website is now down. I ALMOST placed an order for Lazurite which evidently was in-stock, but the price was HIGH, and I am glad I didn't now because I am wondering if it would've shipped. Too bad, I got a couple GMK sets from them as well as some other stuff and I always liked them. I'm newer to the hobby but I kinda thought of them as a staple. Also, did you see Drop got bought by Corsair, their CEO announced it today. Might cover that on your next video. Thanks Taeha!
