Hot take. Unless the attack is very clearly telegraphed with ample opportunity to doge, no enemy should be able to one shot you in any PvE experience. Outside of optional challenges that specifically are meant for that. But bungie loves one shotting their players with bullshit, been doing it since Halo 2
