Kalamae recipe (gets about 650 - 700 grams of snack meat)
Glutinous rice flour 200 g (1 + 1/2 cup)
2 teaspoons (4 g) cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Coconut milk 500 ml
240 grams of palm sugar (12 tablespoons)
Roasted nuts or sesame seeds, for sprinkling as desired

Approximate steps to do
1. Pour glutinous rice flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir well.
2. Gradually pour in the coconut milk and stir until the flour and cocoa powder are completely dissolved.
3. Filter
4. Heat over medium-low heat until the flour thickens with a little watery part.
5. Add palm sugar Continue stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.
6. When stirring for about 20 - 25 minutes (timer from the start of stirring), use low heat.
7. Stir until the dough is smooth, sticky and shiny (takes about 40 - 45 minutes)
8. Pour into oiled pan or container.
9. Sprinkle toasted nuts or toasted sesame seeds as you like.
