In today's episode, my Thai boyfriend is making delicious Thai corn fritters / fried corn (Tod Man Khao Pod), a popular and flavorful street food snack from Thailand. Crispy, savory, and perfect for sharing!
Recipe:
Corn
95 g Flour
30 g Cornstarch
1 tsp Salt
½ tsp White Pepper
200 ml Water
For the sauce:
80 g Sugar
40 g Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp Salt
50 ml Water
Peanuts
Instructions:
1. Combine all the dry ingredients.
2. Gradually add water and stir until smooth.
3. Add in the corn.
4. Fry spoonfuls of the mixture until golden and crispy.
5. For the sauce, combine everything except the peanuts in a pan, simmer until it thickens, then stir in the peanuts.
6. Serve the fritters hot with the tangy peanut sauce, and enjoy!
