Never take the cheapness of Thailand for granted. This video shows how much time and care they spent to offer such a wonderful dish. They were supposed to earn more, the tourists were supposed to pay more,but these didn’t happen. Respect it, treasure it.

In Malaysia we called it telur bungkus which mean wraps anything but mostly chicken paprik with omelette and eat it with hot rice.. Veryy delicious

For those who want to try making the dish, heres the ingredients I can recognize. Steaming water: Pandan leaves bruised and tied into a knot, Lemongrass smashed. Galangal stems and roots bruised. Steam basket: Lime slices Items included in the mortar and pestle In order: Lime peel Lemon grass white part chopped fine. Galangal (Family of Ginger) Cilantro root White pepper whole Clove Black pepper while Chilli Red onion Garlic Krachai/Fingeroot Turmeric Mint Leaves. Then it's fried in oil and coconut cream + coconut milk. He then added palm sugar and soy sauce after the fish was cooked Items included in the bowl of water. In order: Kaffir lime leaves Red chilli Thai Eggplant Green peas Krachai/Fingeroot Mint leaves Garnish: Chili Kaffir lime leaf Im not familiar with the blue and pink flowers not sure if they're edible or not.

This is a huge amount of prep for essentially one dish and one serving. Plus you got all fresh ingredients mostly so I'm guessing that it's not cheap. Not knocking it at all but damn it's quite the process.
