For the past 4 years I've flown into Chiang Mai,taken a couple of days to get over the jet lag,and then rented a big bike and wandered around northern Thailand,Cambodia, and Lao. I'm 68 and will do it as long as I can and for as long as someone will rent me a bike. The people, scenery, and food are amazing. I've made a number of friends and they insist I stay with them everytime I'm in country. Many of them ride and they've taken me places I would never have found on my own.

Firstly I love watching your video reviews. I'm from Australia and I hadn't ridden a bike on the road for about 35 years. In 2017 I took a trip to Phuket where I hired a scooter to travel around. Getting used to the controlled mayhem of the traffic was quite a task but I eventually got used to it. I have been back to Phuket each year since and just love riding the scooter everywhere. I have since bought myself a bike back home and am a regular rider again. I'm planning a "Thailand Tour" next year up in Chiang Mai on Royal Enfield Interceptors. Watching this video has made me eager to get back there. It is a special place and the people are just wonderful. Thanks for sharing your videos to the world. Cheers John

I bought a Honda SH300i after coming back from Thailand and putting around on a 125cc scooter for a week. It was great fun on the hire scooter but I had to push up steep hills, especially since I had a pillion! 300cc is great fun and surprises drivers at the lights since it looks look a fairly typical not so fast scooter. I have my eye on the Tiger 900 one day but will no doubt keep the scooter and memories of my Thailand trip over 10 years ago.

Looks like a great trip. The only riding experience I had in Thailand was in Phuket, at 2am, on a scooter owned by a drunk Australian girl, who incidentally was on the back at the time. Great fun! Haha. But the thought of doing it on a Tiger to go an explore sounds fantastic!

Noticed the central camera position immediately by the mirrors stroking the corners of the screen, though with the higher angle the downside is we viewers cannot glance in the mirror as with the side mount, however better overall and what a relief to get rid of the last tour's darkness!! Fantastic hotel and what a gent is Paul, (ignoring last parking place!).Looking forward to the rest of this!!

Very looking forwards to your new series. Obviously, you made it back home safe. Glad about that, because this first episode has dozens of hair raising moments where I tell to myself "TMF usually is a careful rider... wtf?" Cheers, Tim

The riding in Thailand is something else I can tell you - I'm told its the second most dangerous place on earth to ride a motorcycle (and before you ask, I've no idea where the first is!)....

Enjoyed your video. I went to Ao Nang, Krabi 2 years ago with my family. We hired a Toyota HiLux Invincible for 2 weeks and travelled all over southern Thailand. The roads are surprisingly good, the traffic very light and the road manners top notch. Would highly recommend an adventure in Thailand, amazing experience (lots different from here in the IOM).

I miss riding backhome. Hopefully you can make a review of the motorbike like honda cub, that locals are using. It would be a diffirent experience. Be careful with the dogs as they are crossing the road like a mad dog.😊. Ride safe and enjoy your holiday.
