A bit outside of Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand there is a market that just opened a few months ago. You can find Thai Street Food on the market as well as clothes, plants and handcrafts. A typical Thailand market as you can find a few here in Chiang Mai. But what makes this market so special and maybe what makes this market Thailand’s most unique market is that its located right inside a coconut plantation. So, when you travel Thailand and you come to Northern Thailand and Chiang Mai I highly recommend to check out this market. One of the most unique markets I have seen so far here in Thailand.

As Ken says, you can make it happen. Many people dream of such & yet only a very small % do it...please be one of those that do. I did it in my late teen/early 20's & all on my own. Many years on & after bringing up family etc, I plan to atleast get back to Asia & travel again asap.

Remind me a bit similar like Vietnamese Coffee....especially dripping from the coffee powder into cup...I'll never say no to Street food Yummy .. LOL ...and I must say this is gem.. Very unusual market, along with a very unusual coffee machine. Very strange Pizza, I'm with you on the sauces, only one I really like is Gravy and Malaysian peanut Satay sauce. Love these foody markets you always find so many differnet things to try. Time for another healthy week afterwards though. Great souvenir from the artist. People used to use bamboo scaffold to build skyscrapers, so the bridge is very safe. Pity the weather changed so quickly at the end.

by watching this makes me miss going to some food bazaar & conventions 👌😻✨ as asian most of us are not really familiar on making coffee stuff like that as yes it is real we love instant coffee mix in sachet like some of us don't really have time to do those stuff in the morning before back in high school i just fill my tumbler w/ hot water & buy an instant coffee mix into 711 & take my breakfast in school just not to be late 😹

Actually you can drink the filtered coffee from the cup the coffee drips into. The small porcelain type cup is just to collect the remaining coffee drip while you drink from the bigger cup.

You can reach mountains within 1-2 hours from here

It takes about one minute to the mountains from my condo in Chiang Mai, Everything west of Chiang Mai is jungle mountains all the way to Burma. The tallest mountain in Thailand is in Chiang Mai province. Chiang Mai is surrounded on 3 sides by mountains and is flatter down the Ping River toward Tak.
