i suggest you explore padmarajan movies like season, arapatta kettiya graammathil (In the Village Which Wears a Warrior's Belt), nammuk parkkan munthiri thoppukal (Vineyards for us to dwell in). he is one of those writer/directors who came from the literature field to malayalam cinema and gave us milestone films that influenced a lot of newgen diectors and writers. he is someone who should be celebrated on a national level for his contributions to indian cinema

@@ReelRealReflect If you believe in good filmmaking, you can watch all his films. He passed away in his mid-ages at the peak of his career. His last film 'Njan Gandharvan' released one week earlier. Mahabharat's Sreekrishna, Nitish Bhardwaj played the male lead. What a fantasy film it was!! A must watch. Bollywood has never made such a film (about Gandharva)

I want you to do reviews on underrated malayalam movies like padmarajan's " Moonnaam Pakkam ", " Aparan", or his scripted " kaanamarayathu". Pavithran's mt vasudevan nair scripted " utharam" & balu mahendra's " Yathra". There are still many others but the one's which I've mentioned are really unique & still look fresh as a subject which we can remake even in this era.

padmarajan''s " Aparan" is still regarded as his masterpiece, not an under-rated film. People love it, especially for its climax. Like Bollywood film, Andhadhun, we can only guess its climax. I doubt if its director watched Aparan. Both has something in common. Maybe inspiration like. Till now the mystery of its climax is not unfolded. Aparan is Jayaram's debut film, still regarded as his career best. It's a director's film. Should not miss.
