I agree. With some of the other persons in this post take your time explaining things it’s very relaxing and enjoyable to have you explain and tell us a story behind your recipes. I find myself going back and watching some of your later posts and they’re quite enjoyable no matter how many times I go back to watch it! So please don’t rush for anybody please don’t change for anybody you are who you are! I should know me being a blind person I appreciate all the facts and information that you put in your videos.

You are right! We will stick to just doing what we do and not trying to hurry since we fear people are short on time right before the holiday. We really do appreciate that you are joining us at the table for our videos. And we really appreciate that you've gone back to view some of the older ones we have. We had so much to learn when we started our channel, and we are always so grateful to those viewers who stayed with us during our most novice efforts! Have a wonderful upcoming holiday season. Thank you again for your encouragement.

I just love to watch your videos. Your explanation of the ingredients and preparation of your recipes is greatly appreciated. As a 70 year old I don’t prepare large meals for my husband and I but look forward to possibly preparing a half recipe of your dishes. They all look so delicious. There were several that brought back memories.I have been cooking for over 50 years and really enjoy your videos. I have watched them all and look forward when you post a new dish. Tom, you and Melissa are such a warm and loving couple. You both show such respect for each other. As I have been married for 52 years, it touches my heart to see how love and respect is shown in your videos. Sending you and your family God’s blessings and Aloha from Hawaii ❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🌺🌺❤️❤️

I really enjoyed this video; I learned from it the lesson of "nobody likes dry dressing". The time I tried to make CB dressing It was as dry as the Sahara Desert and nobody liked it. I was familiar with bread dressing seasoned with Bells Seasoning and add-ins....mushrooms and or chestnuts, and/or sausage; (New England style stffing. AT work I had a co worker who had just moved to NH from Georgia and who was going to spending her first Thanksgiving away from home.....since I had a reputation of being a good cook and my bread stuffing was always well received......I volunteered to try to make a corn bread dressing for an office Buffet. I researched on line and started by making the southen style CB (without any sugar) crumbled it and let it sit out to dry for several days (under a tea towel)......but I had no guide about how to moisten it and certainly didn't add cans of soup or cottage cheese and Not enough broth....It was dry and hard. I got credit for trying to cook something I had never had before and without a clue of how it was supposed to be... Finally I saw your video today and after nursing that failure for the past 25 years or so....I am ready to try it with Tom's recipe. The only change I will make is I will always use Bells Seasoning for my stuffing or dressing....It just has been the holiday poultry seasoning and pork pie seasoning that I know and trust. It has lots of sage in it but also thyme and a hint of ginger and I believe a little Savory. I was delighted to find it when I moved to Florida....at Publix....that familiar yellow cardboard box with the picture of a Tom Turkey and red lettering.....I can remember my mother and father using Bells....and I believe my Grammy did too. Thank you for your company and your guidance. God's Speed on your trip back to Kentucky.

I use celery seed I'm just not a celery person but I do like it stuffed with cream cheese and olives. I'm a little lady I buy bag corn bread and cubed stuffing. I use water and chicken bullion and butter I boil it and pour it in slowly. Only other thing I do different is I add Basil, sage, onion and garlic and of course season salt , because some of my family don't like onions in it. Looks good though .

My mother boiled a big pot with chickens necks ,backs, plus pkg of chicken gizzards, onions, celery with several different seasons that help make up her dressing used the broth and cut the meat & pull off the bones, she also dice up eggs in her . Growing up others that came to our table loved your style of dressing they even ask how she made it.😊 we sliced it most of the time in nice size squares easy to put out on the platter lets just say soooo delicious 😋 never dry.

That Thanksgiving Cornbread Dressing looks so delish, you will be honored as "Turkey Tom" come Thanksgiving feast! LOL! Seriously, I truly enjoy your cooking lessons, as this is more than a cooking channel, it feels like long lost family get togethers that I only have precious memories of now, such a bittersweet longing. Your video about how much your 6th grade teacher impacted your soul, really resonated with me. I too had an amazing teacher/guardian angel in 6th grade, who saved my life. I wouldn't be here right now, had she not intervened with her kindness. Bless you and your wonderful family. I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving filled with beautiful memories to last an eternity.

My recipe is how my mom made her’s. She did the raw egg into the bread mix. My first smell of thanksgiving was the smell of butter, onions, and celery sautéed in her cast iron skillet. My dad was always the first to taste test before she put it in to bake🤭. They have been gone a long time, but my memories around food and the holidays are the best! I am so tickled to find your way of making dressing. I have to go eggless because of allergy to egg so this one is perfect. I can make a "brick"(!!) of cornbread without egg to crumble. I'm surprised you didn't add more sage. No matter how much I had put in, my late husband always said "just a little more sage" when he would taste test before I slid it into the oven. LOL. 😂 ALWAYS!

Tom and I love sage but we have to remember that other people share most of our food so we try to cook to match everyone's taste buds that we can. But I'm agreeing with your late husband, and always think just a little more sage would be even better. Have a nice upcoming holiday season.
