Here's the difference between DC & Marvel: · Marvel fans are people who want their heroes to be relatable · DC fans are people who want their heroes to be inspirational This is why both companies' pantheons have emerged as heroes fighting for the same cause, but intrinsically different. Obviously, you need a fair amount of both characteristics in order to have a successful character, but on the whole DC fans don't require X amount of relatibility first as a litmus test the way Marvel fans do. The separation of power between the two brands can honestly be attributed to the market dictating the type of product they want from each publisher. A Marvel reader & a DC reader have different demands.

Can someone explain why this one is so popular when it seems like an utter stomp? Galactus is only 28ft tall while Unicron is planet-sized. And from what I have heard they have very similar stats and feats. Am I missing something?

Vegeta died from suffocation in the vacuum of space, not the force of the earths destruction. Whis explained this right after when he mentioned the possibility of Frieza surviving in space.

I could have missed a crossover but in Marvel vs DC, I never recall ever seeing them fight, they seemed like they were at odds but I can't recall a fight scene at all, I just remember at the end, Thanos was fighting some Marvel and DC heroes in one universe while Darksied was fight some in another and they were wanting to find each other to fight but I don't think they ever fight. And Thanos never shows up in Avengers vs Justice League.

I mean good for them for sticking to the true character of Darkseid (which I never knew) but damn does it show how writers keep escalating a characters power to the point him simply existing destroys realites. Thanos still has some limitations. But with Darkseid to defeat his Super Space Magic we need to create a Super Mega Utra Space Magic gun that can hurt him.

Yeah, I'd say the animated version from Superman and Justice League isn't as strong as Thanos since I don't think anyone besides AMAZO was even planet level in the animated universe so that Darksied would not last too well but other versions and True Darksied definitely would.

I'm hoping the rumors of Phoenix Ikki from Saint Seiya vs. Jean Grey/Phoenix being a death battle for S6 are true cause when you think it about he's literally one of the only few if not the only one who stands a fair chance against Jean when she has the Phoenix Force. Because in the DB Cast where this matchup was brought up the reason why Jean/Phoenix was never featured on Death Battle is because it's hard to find an opponent for her that won't get curb-stomped in seconds due to how borderline OP she is. And Ikki when you think about the powers, abilities, and strength he has as the Bronze Saint of the Phoenix especially once he upgrades his cloth to the "Phoenix God Cloth" then he sounds like can actually take Jean/Phoenix in a fair fight.

True with his best ability being his ability to instantaneously resurrect from whatever kills him/destroys his cloth including getting disintegrated into nothing but atoms. So Phoenix Ikki vs. Jean Grey/Phoenix it happens will definitely be one of those battles were collateral damage is going to happen especially once Ikki busts out the "Phoenix God Cloth" and Jean goes Dark Phoenix.

I don't get... I don't believe it... Why do they have only slightly above 4 mln subscriptions ?? For all effort and time they put in to the most precisely determinate who win in every match deserves a long way more than 4 mln... This is not fair... not fair at all... Maybe some of you may write I'm crazy but I have confidence in them they research very deeply every characters' aspect for every match-up to present, while being the most objective possible, a winner. Of course you can disagree with them, it's absolutely OK but show me an another example of YT channel or group/forum or whatever who has so many people doing reasearch, creating animation and have this years long experience like them. If there is something like that with interest I'll know them. Dear makers of death battle, I'm not sure if you guys have done this yet but in my own opinion I think you should consider making a death battle with the character Riddick, I would have come up with an opponant but I dont doubt for a minute that you guys can find another who is better or equal to Riddick P.s. So to get a Death Battle to become reality we have to make it more requested? Well, a battle I am very much interested in seeing right now due to my love of both series is Fumikage Tokoyami from My Hero Academia vs Negative Man from DC Comics. I guess if I keep suggesting it, it has potential to be seen more. For similarities we have... Super heroes (Negative Man is an old school super hero, Fumikage is training to be one) Odd apparences (NM is wrapped in bandages and underneath that he has see through skin, Fumikage has a bird head) Typically gloomy, negative personalities (Negative Man typically seems negative in personality, Fumikage just seems more 'dark') They fight using a shadowy looking entity that is summoned from their body (NM has his Negative Spirit while Fumikage has Dark Shadow) These shadows take the form of their users (The Negative Spirit when on NM looks like a silhouette of him where when it was with Negative Woman it had a female apparence, Dark Shadow looks like a shadow of Fumikage) Their shadows are sentient and can think for themselves (Dark Shadow routinely talks and shows a personality, in at least three instances the Negative Spirit has been out of NM's control and done its own thing, two of the times it even talked and it now has a real name) Their shadows can be detrimental to them (The Negative Spirit at least two times has tried to forcibly merge with NM when they were separated and in the past, being outside his body for too long could kill NM, Dark Shadow when in darkness and when Fumikage is distressed can grow out of control and start to take over) They have trained to use their powers more effectively, even 'wearing' their shadows to use their abilities without releasing them (NM can partially release the spirit so he can use its abilities without falling unconsious or risking death, Fumikage wears Darkshadow like an exoskeleton to improve his close range weakness) At their peak power level, they should both be about building busters since Darkshadow while going out of control, toppled a whole forrest of trees while when NM lost control of the Negative Spirit in one of Doom Patrol's earliest comics, the spirit rampaged and was blowing up buildings left and right. I really want to see this, due to their unique powers it'd be an interesting fight, I can just imagine seeing the Negative Spirit and Darkshadow just flying around each other while fighting, it'd look bad ass. As for Thor vs Vegeta? My vote goes for Thor. While I am not a big fan, I do like Dragon Ball but I honestly feel like the fans really over hype the power levels of the characters. I see people calling Goku 4th Dimensional and yet I just see him nearly dying from a laser, Vegeta dying when Earth explodes and many characters in the ToP getting shocked when a character states they have mastered the speed of light. It honestly seems like people take the words and boasts and one off feats as fact where as I see things like Goku having a planet busting attack and that planet busting attack blows off the top half of Cell's body even though Cell is apparently Galaxy level now, and 17 was actually giving Jirien trouble despite being weaker than Cell as far as I am aware. Thor can easily move faster than light and move light years easily, he can move planets and even shatter them ON ACCIDENT while competing or fighting with other god like beings, he has a lot of cosmic and magical abilities to draw from and honestly I could see him being capable of absorbing Vegeta's Ki since in the God Butcher Arc, Thor quite literally absorbed the energy from a massive bomb meant to kill all gods in existence, not even just in the present, this bomb was going to go through time killing gods from the past, present and future and yet Thor absorbed that and lived to tell the tale. I could see it being a really tough fight but I have seen a lot of impressive stuff from Thor, even things that put him at Superman level where as I see Vegeta dying from Frieza blowing up the planet and previously when I argued with a DB fan about if Saiyins could breath in space, looking in to it showed me that 9 times out of 10 they typically could and its inconsistent whether they really can or not. Thor just seems more powerful to me.

For example, most Let's Plays almost certainly do not fall under fair use (and pretty much every lawyer I have read that talks about it also agree with that), yet most people think that it does. Using the Sprite without consent in this context almost certainly would violate the person's copyright. It's not educational, critical, or satirical, so what would the grounds for fair use be? I guess they can argue it's transformative, but is it transformative in an original way? No, not really, or really at all. Though, I'm surprised as the copyright should be marvel's and not the Sprite creator's, as you can't make a work from another person's IP and then copyright it (that's why Game footage from game reviews isn't copyrighted, only their criticism is).

I had an idea to create a series a while back about bringing back the losers of Death Battle to fight each other to see who wins redemption, with the hosts being a bounty hunter named Remington and a chemist named Nitrus. The rules would still be the same as Death Battle, but with a few exceptions: killing is optional, They have to have lost their most recent Death Battle to qualify (Thor, Batman, Sonic, etc.) but they cannot have a win after their loss (Ryu, Wonder Woman, etc.). What do you think of it, and what should it’s name be? These are the matchups I could think of: 1. Twilight Sparkle vs Harry Potter (MLP vs Harry Potter) How it would start: Twilight does the trans dimensional teleportation spell on herself, and lands in the Wizarding World, with Harry mistaking Twilight for a monster, and the fight then happening in Equestria halfway through. (Fun fact: this was originally going to start during the Season 5 finale) 2. Silver Samurai vs Afro Samurai (Marvel vs Afro Samurai) How it would start: Silver wishing to challenge Afro for the title of Number 1 3. Pit vs Kratos (Kid Icarus vs God of War) How it would start: Pit being sent to subdue Kratos, but to kill if necessary. 4. Frank West vs Scout (Dead Rising vs Team Fortress 2) How it would start: Frank kills the Spy while Scout is patrolling a MvM map, with Scout basically getting pissed, getting interrupted halfway through the fight by GreyBots and Zombies(maybe). And yes Scout would be able to use all of his weapons (except reskins) and maybe even a few more 5. Thanos vs Doctor Strange (Marvel) How it would start: Dr. Strange walks through a portal to confront Thanos with the Avengers, Gaurdians, Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Bucky, but Thanos teleports them away and decides to fight 1 on 1. 6. Megazord vs Gamera How it would start: the Power Rangers mistake Gamera for one of Rita’s monsters and form the Megazord to destroy it What fights would you want to see?
