Thanks to 'About Town Wine Experience' in Fredericksburg, Texas I had the opportunity to tick something HUGE off my Texas bucket list - meeting and hand feeding real Texas Longhorns!
They were HUGE and is was an amazing experience

I know this is a year old, but I need to let you know something about the Hill Country. Fredericksburg is more like the Texas Foothill Country. If you want real hill country, take a road trip south on Hiway 16 to Kerrville . Enjoy the drive and see the Coming King Sculpture Prayer Gardens (Hiway 16/I-10). Then, continue on 16 to Medina and spend a day on the "Three Twisted Sisters" route. You will not forget the views. Lastly, continue to Bandera (the Cowboy Capital of the World). THIS is real Texas.

It's so funny to me. When I see your videos you remind me of Quigley.....only backwards. I know you're British, but in the cowboy hat you definitely look more Australian. Then coming to Texas to be a cowboy. And as a Texan, I am here for it! LOVE this channel!!!! So, question......6 shooter or rifle?

There used to be a brand of cheese called Longhorn and people would tease their kids by telling them that the reason these cattle have such massive horns, is because they ate Longhorn cheese when they were growing up and wouldn't you know, that all the kids wanted grilled cheese 🥪 sandwiches 😋 back then.

Longhorns are lean and tough. It can be hard to find a butcher who knows how to make one into meat.

Go to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch. They give free tours daily, and I swear you have to go there and see it, it's fucking wild!
