This is the first video I ever saw of the King's Singers in the year it was shown I think. I was hooked and have followed them quite a bit ever since. I love to work out to music and they are a good choice. I would like my send off when I die (our family throws open bar/much food) to be in part played to "New Day". The King's Singers have made me happy many days for many years. Who could ask for much more?

I miss such a beautiful bright voice like that Simon Carrington in the current line-up as well as the bright voice of Jeremy Jackman. Such a nice symfonic sound!

Anyone have any info on an unusual song that the King's Singers sang at several of their concerts in the mid 80's? It was an African spiritual sort of song, and had the repeating words... Botta, Botta, botta botta botta. I heard it at a concert of theirs in Dover, NJ, and they also performed it (I think) on the PBS concert at Wolf Trap. I've searched all over, to no avail.

My dad had part of this preformance on vhs and I have watched it growing up. I wish the quality was better because these mens voices compliment each other beautifully. Any info anyone has on how to get a recording of the whole show I would be so grateful if you could pass it on.

Unfortunately, Wolf Trap did not keep recordings of their concerts then, all we have is folks (like my family) who recorded this on their VCRs.

I have this show on VCR. Too bad bass was a bit weak. Not enough range/power in low register. Good harmony nevertheless and good stage presence. Love their rendition of "Blackbird".
