I woke up in middle of the night wondering if there was any news on Johns condition and ran into this video. I went from tears to laughter before it was over. I’ve loved his music for 40 years and have seen him at least a dozen times. The world isn’t ready to lose such an amazing talent.

I bought his first album in High School and have been a fan ever since. I had the pleasure of seeing him at the Newport Folk Festival years ago, a performance I remember to this day. Such a Sad Day when he died. These 33 people who gave a thumbs down must live the sad lives,,,

One of my more "hip" counselors at church camp turned me on to Prine when I was about 16. Sam Stone, Great Compromise, Frying Pan,etc. Immediately identified with his music and learned lots of his tunes on my acoustic. Still try to catch him on tour every few years at least. My whole family enjoys his music. Took my younger daughter to see hi when she was abut four years old and she wowed all the folks around us by singing along with every song he sang. My father in law always wanted me to play Please Don't Bury Me for him.

WOW. I might look into it if i still around, but get back and tell me how it was! John is AWESOME, seen him live up in Canada in an open air concert by Lake Ontario back in the early 90s. What a beautiful night it was, John was in his prime that night, as he always is. Such a great songwriter, story teller and musician. He is the real deal.

I was home on leave with a hot girl whose dad owned a Cadiilac Dealership and we snorted a bunch of coke and smoked a bunch of pot with her brother and his girlfriend. We were shooting pool in the basement of his/her basement and I went to the coke machine to get a beer when the bottle fell on the floor and broke right in front of his grand dad and grand mother.
