@@agod5608 Well.... You have a 2nd chance! Easily, for a start, because of so much of his wonderful music is available on many You Tubes. I was introduced to him by a friend since school, a vet and the godfather of our only son. It was "Sam Stone," years ago, then, "I Remember Everything." Every piece has been, and still is, a favorite, for his musical talent and his humor, too. You won't be disappointed. Best wishes for happy listening and viewing. @NotMeUs

I know! "Thumbs down?" What's up with that? Wish I'd seen him live. We had tickets for the summer of 2019, but he took a couple of weeks off the tour for surgery, and had to reschedule the show. Then Covid hit, and then he up and died. Rest in Music, John.

In beauty, had the privilege of listening to this fine man for an hour and 20 minutes In Farmington NM in 76 or 77... He played a 1500 seat venue. He was on a rocky mtn "tour" Found out he was playing the same night he played?! No advertising, no radio stations even played his incredible music!!? Maybe 30 or 40 people finally stagger in .. He come out set down at the piano and played till I cried! Never again will this happen,😢 He set down played his opening song finished, turned to the "crowd" and said if no more than two of you came to hear my music, I would play! Go in Beauty!!

Oh, Caleb. I'm sorry. I'm with you. I miss him so much too. His sudden covid illness & passing was devastating and was also around many other devastating things that month for me & my family--plus worse stuff later in the year. I couldn't get over being so knocked down by John's passing so suddenly (after just seeing him in November!). I was able to start listening again recently as just listening (not part of grief processing). Feeling good to enjoy again and I think I just need to know that these songs now have that added element of poignant loss. It's okay, that's the way the world goes round.
