So this is what you've been cooking for 6 days? I'm not disappointed

Any tips on moving fluidly from a 7th to an octave at the base of the middle finger? Do you have a 7th in the center of the palm or is it part way between the center of the palm and the base of the middle finger?

part way. the larger the interval than the closer to the base of the fingers

@@nic-farris so do you do little hops between every interval? Would you mind making a video of the inside of the hand during every interval + during interval changes? I'd love to see how it works in more depth as I've struggled with the fluidity between octaves and all other intervals for forever

i don’t always change position of base of mallet while changing small intervals. like a change of 3rd to 5th can be done with thumb and first finger. i like to think about it as each position in the palm has a range of intervals that are comfortable. the closer to the base of the finger the larger the interval

@@henwill8lemme make note and i’ll make a video

@@nic-farris thank you, a video would be greatly appreciated (also if you included the function each finger plays in the interval changes that change the position of the base of the mallet that would be helpful)
