"What's your favorite tattoo of all time?" On the surface, it seems like a very easy question. Like if you ask me my favorite cheese, immediately I'll say sharp cheddar. But there are so many tattoos, and every day that number increases exponentially, so it's actually a pretty darn difficult question. Watch as our panel of tattoo artists struggle to figure out their favorite tattoo of all time.
Welcome to Season 21 of Tattoo Artists React! I bet you didn’t think we’d make it this far, did you? We certainly didn’t. This time around we’ve gathered a bunch of our favorite tattooers and asked them a bunch of questions… you know, like we’ve done every other season. But that doesn’t mean it’s not going to be a ton of fun! Like, you’ve probably eaten french fries 10,000 times but when you see them on the menu you still order them. I’m rambling. I met Steve Moore and his work is insane. I was fan girling hard! Iwas in the shop getting tattooed by someone else who has tattoos by him and they are so amazing. Side note: he's such a nice and humble guy too

These shows are the only place I see tattoos dripping with color. Don't know why they aren't more popular. In real life I mostly see faded, dark coverings which doesn't make me want one.

I see those most commonly too until I started evaluating everyone with tattoos around me. Idk if it’s because they have gotten more popular and people are researching more, but I have seen more vibrant tattoos lately. I saw a guy yesterday with the most amazing octopus tentacle sleeve that was incredibly colorful and vibrant… and a couple months ago I saw this big huge dude who looked terrifying as heck with the most hilarious leg sleeve.His sleeve was an incredibly colorful new school style Christmas sleeve with a cheery Santa as the main focus… It was so well done and hilarious at the same time.

The dark ones are cheaper. When you go to a random shop they frankly aren't capable of getting the bright colors to stick. It's hard. There's a lot less people capable of nice ones. That said, I have a nice colorful tattoo but it's on my leg and you will never see it out and about

I disagree, because 1) if I could tattoo like that then I'd be my favorite too, 2) you're always going to do a better job of matching your own taste than anyone else is because you can make exactly what you want to, and 3) she's clearly talking about tattoos she loves that were meaningful to her career, which is almost always going to mean more to you than something you just saw on Instagram once.

@@grammernotzi the simplistic definition is “the activity of trying to control who gets particular resources, power, or opportunities, and who does not.” Basically, it’s determining who gets to join the club and who doesn’t. It happens a lot in tattooing. The older generation of tattoo artists have rules that they expect the younger artists to follow before they’re accepted.
