The fact the OVA with Naruto vs Konohamaru straight up discourages whsy Guy did with his team by allowing them to train for an extra year weird and frankly just dumb. I mean Naruto uses Sage mode and his instantly disqualified. That's like if team Guy since they trained for an extra year got banned from using the gates or the 64 palms cause it's unfair for other participants.

No because in those chunin exams naruto was way superior to the rest of contestants in power, in the part 1 chunin exams there was way more parity and no one who absurdly overpowers everyone, if for example rock lee didnt train more he woulve had been murdered by gaara in 10 seconds

It was such a silly plot doe. "Ah yes, that power ? That ultra op power you used to single handly your entire village ? We are banning you from using. Cause you know, would be unfair for the other participants. Intead of just giving you the rank cause we know you are overqualified and would beat everyone else here." I know, is just a filler, is not allowed to make relevant changes to the plot, but is just such a silly reasoning.

​@@DM-Oz The reasoning isn't silly they're trying to teach him to be a leader and maximum overkill is not the trait of a leader. His main issue here was that he was trying to fight for fun and that's not a good example of what it means to be decisive much in the way the rule about sage mode was just to measure his practice on self-control and the fact that he didn't bother to listen to the rules just prove that he would still needed more training before getting more leadership positions after all chunin to Hokage would have been a very short trip since all the other positions are dictated only by internal affairs.

Well we know there had to have been at least one between kakshi's and Naruto's because we are shown Kakashi beating the crap out of another team prior to being given team 7 or was that around the same time and just not explained that way. 🤔
