And most people don't mark vegan food vegan because if they do some people won't eat it. Also in PewDiePie video where there was no mention of vegan burger did she think it had no meat all it said it that salmon are treated badly but just because one fish is telreated badly dosen't mean all fishes are and Jews and some people and culture eat meat but not fish so how do we know there was no meat and hasn't she hard of vegetarianism like why is she saying it has vegan cheese. Also does she really think PewDiePie is vegan like as I said not all fishes are treated badly and he still loves steak and there is vegetarianism and everyone would have acted that way. Just be thankful that she doesn’t have a cat. I hope to God that this lady NEVER gets a cat because that cat will die. Why? Because cats are obligatory carnivores, meaning that they need meat to survive or they’ll die. Unlike dogs, cats have not evolved to the point where they can produce essential proteins found in animal meat on their own, so the only solution for your cat to survive is to give them meat.

The thing about, "why love one yet eat another" to me at least, we keep domesticated animals in our homes because we enjoy company, nothing more nothing less. We don't need to seek companionship from animals that are frankly, unlikable in a house setting like a cow or a camel or a fucking alligator. Now, that's not to say you *can't* have those animals as pets, nor that they can't be companion worthy, but rather that they do not match the environments we live in. To put it in simple terms, you wouldn't plant a tropical plant in the arctic because the environment around it does not suit it's needs. In this case dogs and cats and other pets are the plants while we the people shape the environment. Unless you really desperately need the comfort of a 2 ton lizard that has a biting force of 500lbs, you are probably going to take in something more human friendly and domesticated, like a dog, or a cat, or like...a gecko. There's no need for a rhyme or reason to "why love one but eat another", we do it because we want to and at the end of the day that's ok. We do lots of things purely cause we want to, it's how humans survive, like sex or adoption, or hell, choosing to solely eat plants, it's all free choice and thas perfectly reasonable. Besides, if you wanted to, that "why eat one yet love another" thing can be disproved by eating the "ones we love" so it's not a really good sounding argument since it kinda pushes people to one extreme or the other, neither of which is pretty... Also also note, this is all my opinion, so....ye, not fact, just my take on the saying. Peace

I was looking to see if anyone had commented on the “eat one, love another” thing, and I really liked the way you put it. Also, dogs ancestors are wolves and our ancestors used to tame wolves as hunting companions, they help us get food, we feed them. Over a very long time, we domesticated them and developed very close bonds to them. I think that is largely why we drew the line when it came to dogs and left said line mostly untouched. We grew accustomed to having dogs as companions and don’t want to give that up. Also, dogs are very entertaining.

Also, pigs have been known to eat humans - my best friend’s grandma knew someone who was tragically eaten alive by feral pigs - and there have even been instances of domesticated pigs cannibalizing other pigs. Why should I feel bad about eating something that could also potentially eat me AND has no qualms eating its own kind? And yes, I’m aware that our furry feline/canine companions are also known to have eaten their owners, but the chances of me being eaten alive by my cat is basically none. That is my counter-argument to that argument.
