Just LOVE these views! Thank you for bringing memories back from our hike on Waimea Canyon! It was one of our favorite hikes-EVER! So the fall you were viewing was right before getting to a smaller (but still epic) waterfall you can swim in. We featured it in our Kauai video if you're interested in checking it out. Awesome video! Are there mosquitoes ?

Thank you! I don't recall there being many boys when we went but it can change month to month. I would bring bug spray just Incase.

There were mosquitos the day we went but not bad if you keep moving. My husband is allergic so we kept a rapid pace. They are mostly in the areas where you have to cross water so you can plan to go quicker over those areas. He had also learned that having a pin that looks like a dragon fly on your hat can scare bugs away. He tried it out on this hike and although we saw mosquitos neither of us were bit.
