Cool. :) I can agree on that, plus paying $12-13 for a crappy, cheap basic figure is absolutely ridiculous. I don't care what people say, there are some great figures in that line.

I remember going to Kay Bee back in the day and POTF figures were on clearance for like $2.

@@trollking99 Yeah I heard about that. By that time I was 13 and priorities obviously changed. I did take my sister to the toy department around that time and saw some of the POTF figures. I kind of wanted them for a second but then I adjusted my new adam's apple and carried on to fine looking girl over in shoes.

Well all you will see is 90s crap for Star Wars, but vintage is expensively rare.

I didn’t realize there were boomer Star Wars toys. I just knew about the vintage ones from the 90s when I was a kid.

This would be Gen X SW, 90s isn't vintage. :) 1920s to the 60s would be boomer.

@@Tr0nzoid I was born in the nineties and played with episode 1,2,3 toys with my dad. My dad recently passed and I wanted to get some of the Star Wars toys we played with so was doing some research on KZbin. I was unaware of the older toys and just wanted to start collecting some of the figures I grew up with playing with.

Definitely some “holy grails” in here, but unfortunately the 90’s PotF Yak Face is the only version of Yak Face I could afford when it comes to Star Wars figures of classic characters. Also, $60+ in shipping fees for some of these is crazy to me.

Yo I literally put $20 to the side here and there and next thing I knew I bought an Original yak face for $575. You can get one I promise you! Put money to the side for a month or so it’s definitely worth it!!!

The only thing I can think of with the R2 figure is that it's among the first figures in production, therefore, the blue is a little darker than the figures produced later on. I still need a rancor keeper . This was interesting, thanks for looking at these. Thanks for the video

The nineties and Prequels early 2000s are my favorite eras! Fun looking for and collecting the action figures. Nowadays I just want to cry but I might collect the Acolyte figures just to 'kill' myself.

I'm not surprised that Rancor Keepers are so cheap. I vividly remember a toy store near me having two ROTJ Rancor Keepers on the clearance shelf until 1991 or so.

Awesome video yeah man get those last couple figures your so close don’t give up. I’m 25 issues away from having the original comic series. When you finish your collection make video of it.

In the uk, prices for vintage starwars are the lowest they have been for years, quite a serious downturn, especially on Ebay uk, Things that would normally sell rapid are just not being bought, even though considerably cheaper than normal...Vtg MOC in nice condition are often seen to have sold for as much as half of what they'd normally go for the past 6 or 7 months.. I'd say things are a similar price now to what I was paying around 2008 - 2010. I have been raking them in. 😎 Actually won 3 in the last 2 weeks, 3 that would normally have been around £150 - £275.000 pounds each minimum here in the condition they are.. I won one of them, a stunning ( Han Solo Trench) for £67.00 delivered, & unpunched clear bubble royal guard for just £73.56p delivered, & a graded 80, potf At-St driver for £103.45p delivered... I've no idea why this has huge price drop has happened here, but I'm loving it. Grabbing all those mocs I couldn't quite afford the last few years. People are so caught buying this new "vintage collection" stuff, that real vtg has been off the boil for as long a period as I've not seen before in over 25 years of collecting. I cannot see it recovering anytime soon either. Which is great for buyers!

Tolkien stuff is immortal.. they will be reading his work in 500 years. Lucas’ IP COULD have been as dearly loved. But it’s ruined. Like that guy the other day with the worlds biggest SW collection?.. he sees the writing on the wall.. time to cash out while the getting is good. Otherwise his stuff will be as desired as Katzenjammer Kids, or Buck Rogers, or Tarzan stuff is today for modern audiences.
