Alright so the Holy Knights were mentioned in 1054 (which came out last July) the context is that Kizaru asks about “the attempted murder of St Charlos” and the other guy says “the Holy Knights are investigating the situation” Akainu says “let them handle it” and they just move on. In that context, it sounds like they are just like the police force of Maryjois but this chapter marks them as an elite fighting force that even Dragon is preparing for. He wouldn’t say “when they mobilize the Holy Knights that’s when the fighting will begin” if they weren’t a serious threat, I mean there’s only 9 of them! I think it’s safe to assume they are legit and will likely fight the Revs. Also that’s Shanks until I’m shown otherwise lol

Congrats fellas on the 100th episode! Glad that you guys do the pod with such high quality and during every week no less! I used to dread Mondays but now I have a reason to look forward to them Also Larry!! You and I have the same Luffy shirt!!! 1) I don't think Dragon is short sighted enough to not think of an alternative form of government for rebelling countries. If I had to guess it would probably be an indirect democracy for large scale countries (Like the US) and direct democracies (Think of regular town hall meetings). Dragon's been waiting for decades to make a move. Not having an alternative to the current system would make a revolution feel pointless. PS Sabo was in the hull of a ship when escaping Lulusca so he probably didn't see exactly what happened to wipe the island out. Also, giving the details of the current mission is more important than speculating what wiped the island out. 2) The Holy Knights being introduced late does beg a lot of questions: Why now? Why so late? And where have they been? Acting as overseers or similar to Squad 0 in TYBW seems to check those boxes as well as doubly playing into hubris/incompetence (Both of WG and Celestial Dragons). I'm not gonna hype the Holy Knights up until I see them in action. I like to call it a stats check instead of fraud watch lol 3) I think the Rev's aren't too broken up about Kobra's death because he's considered collateral damage. The whole gotta crack a few eggs to make an omelet type deal. While I agree that the Rev's need to be as careful as they can about who they remove from power or kill, I understand that sometimes death of an ally or innocent is something that can't always be prevented. 4) Good on rev's for picking their fight where the admirals can be held by a handicap. That being said, I still wanna see the admirals go all out, not just the aftermath of their fights. Also the soot soot fight being a special paramecia instead of a logia is possible. Yes, it can be found in nature but it is more commonly found because of human development (Like most paramecias). Btw what if awakened or the ultra rare versions of logias are called Primordial Logias? 5) Kobra foreshadowing his own death isn't unexpected but it makes you wonder why he was so willing to die, especially with how much he loves his country, knows how corrupt the WG is and with Vivi. 6) THAT MONOPOLY IS SICK AND I WANT ONE 7) Buggy being re-introduced during Impel Down was annoying, but the payoff is starting to show up. He still makes me mad though 8) My only concern with BB stealing his crews DF for the final showdown is why didn't he do it earlier? What gives him the ability to steal 10 more DF for himself later that he doesn't have now? 9) While I definitely see Fujitora being the next fleet admiral, I more likely see him being Kolby's next mentor. Whether Garp wins and is forced to retire early or dies in the line of duty, Fujitora is the one most like Garp but with a different perspective and could heavily influence Kolby's development. 10) With how upset Luffy was with BB during Impel Down and depending on what else happens before those two meet up again, Luffy is definitely gonna have it be a 1v1. Anytime Luffy felt like it was his personal to him or to his friends' he always made it a solo fight.

Well the World Goverment used Kaido for Weapon trade..They needed him!Shanks we dont know where he is standing ! Also Big Mom whatever and Whitebeard didnt care ! So there were no reason for them to Involve!Also Shichibukai ,Marines and Yonko was the reason world Was in Balance ..Also why someone As Dragon to waste his resources and Manpower when he has a upcoming War with the World Goverment !Also why Shanks didnt destroyed Blackbeard in the the Marineford! and let him leavy ?

Also to add to this it makes no sense for the Holy knight to leave the holy land as it would leave them defenceless from outside attacks particularly when the navy is occupied with external matters like Marineford or rn with Egghead and Crossguild.

I have theory - the shanks who talked to Gorosei and the shanks who we know are both different. Compare the panels of Shanks talking about certain pirate with Gorosei to shanks talking to WB , u will have a same panel but in case of shanks being on WB ship the scar was still visible but I'm Gorosei case there was no scar and oda even hided that by Making shanks wear a cape over his head Why ? Cuz there are two Shanks or u could say two person with similar face

Yo I think we just need to have black beard fight in order for this black beard nonsense could end we don’t know what type of fighter black beard is other then he jumps characters. We just need panels and animations to truly see how he fights. All we got is that he has caught top tear characters within the story but we haven’t seen it so we don’t know how he succeeded in those fights. He is either a monster or just trash. It’s hard to scale black beard other then what is being said in the story.

@@sethsherr2793What I have learned from one piece is that it doesn’t matter what titles or strong powers you have if you have a strong will you can over come those things. Which shanks and Luffy have here the thing black beard relies in his crew over his own strength that is why we have never seen him fight on his own. Which mean if he is put in that type of situation he can really do anything against top tier fighters. I’ll give it to you cause the story says otherwise cause he was able to overcome some top tier fighters in the story which he shouldn’t have if he fought them on his own he losses no matter what devil fruit he has he isn’t capable of using his own power at full strength that is why I don’t see him as a threat.

Very late on this one. But congrats on 100 episodes. I remember back in the 20s episode days. Shame I seem to just never seem to catch these. I do enjoy listening back later while I'm playing a game though. An episode of agendas and arguing, just how it should be. The boys around the table arguing it out over things that probably don't even matter but makes for a funny conversation. I.E Dragon slander and so forth. But yeah, all the best to you guys and the show.
