John can truly sing anything and do it with perfection. John can sing anything, and puts so much passion and emotion into this and everything he does, and his diction is so perfect and crystal clear. The greatest and most versatile male vocalist of all time.

I have been a big fan of Johns for 50 years. I haven't heard that song for a very long time. What beautiful heartbreaking lyrics. Wishing John the best after his major surgery last year. Listening in May 2023 from Brisbane Australia.

Most beautiful song by such a beautiful man. He epitomises the Aussie spirit .I truly hope you get to meet him one day. You have created a whole new audience for his music worldwide and a resurgence even in his home country. Thank you

What ever John sings, even if it normally isnt your cup of tea, he drags you in hook, line and sinker and makes you interested in his songs and music. Not many singers or musicians can make you actually want to invest yourself in their performances even when you don't like the genre at all.

Thank you to the person who requested this reaction. In my opinion it is the most beautiful song John has recorded, and there have been a lot over the years. The melody and the storyline is something truly special. I hope John’s health is improving. I miss him a lot and wish him and his family all the best for 2023. With love from Down Under 😘💕🥰🎤🎶🇦🇺

I love this song. One of his earlier songs originally recorded in 1970. Can't help but hit you in the feels. This whole concert in 1996 was just another reminder of just how good John Farnham really was. And that cutting his hair didn't remove the power lol

I saw this concert 3 times. John's performances were extraordinary. It was such a treat to hear and see him perform something from his early career. A superb performer in every way.

It’s one of my favourites thankyou for reacting to this.. John brought this out in 1970.. this is he’s cover of an Aretha Franklin song and Wayne Newton also had a hit with this too.. when you close your eyes and just hear that beautiful voice and the emotions he makes you feel, not lot of singers can make you feel that but John takes you there everytime.. 🧐😊🇦🇺🥰

I went to one of his Sydney gigs on the tour. Amazing, The half a dozen or so times I've seen him live, whether that be his own concerts, the main event concerts or Jesus Christ Superstar. So glad I got to experience his talent live so many times.

I remember when this concert was broadcasted live back in 1996 - I was still in school. In fact, this tour was the first time I had seen John live when he came up to Cairns which was amazing. I must have been 12. The you're the voice version from this concert is one of the best versions of that song. You should react to that.

You might be interested in what I think is the last concert John Farnham did at the age of 70 on Sunday 16 February 2020. It was a charity concert for the firefighters following the devastating fires on the east coast of Australia. He would have had undiagnosed cancer at the time. Olivia Newton John was there too in what would have been one of her last performances. There are four tracks on the video. Pick any one. Here is the link. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h2mTaplmhMuUZ7s Love your work. Keith, Sydney Australia
