So this is how gearshift functions, Gearshift can completely ignore laws of physics, which is how deku could insta stop in mid air. Each gear is a change in speed. When deku used the "quintuple" attack, that was him breaking physics again by hitting shigaraki with FIVE full powered smashes INSTANTANEOUSLY, aka a 500 percent smash, or a 600 percent smash if we base it off deku going "120 out of 100."

I believe the "120% out of 100" is specially for GS:Overdrive, which is GS:Top Gear, OFA, and Fa Jin everything else spot on!

@@KTS.120% is the base level of power he's at when gearshift is online, it isn't a direct increase in strength from 100% but because it's a increase in speed. The faster he goes the harder he hits

To add to my other comment, when deku touches his arm, it causes the cells in his body to move rapidly, inceeasing his speed aswell as can increase speed of other ppl he touches. So fast ir breaks super sonic speeds and is prob past light speed too when mixed with his quirks and gearshift overdrive. The rapidness in his cells can cause complications but I wont spoil the drawbacks

Anime fans and their weird obsession with light speed. Deku is not breaking light speed lmao. That's ridiculously, impossibly fast even with those quirks

though he can stil achieve lightspeed since theres no telling the limit of gearshift so infinite speed

@gilpenas8826 that's headcanon though. Quirks are still physical abilities with limitations. Even if his body could move that fast, it couldn't handle something like that. He can only use gearshift as is for 5 minutes while moving faster than sound

@@calebrichardson5259 its already stated that gearshift can be moved cell by cell of his body that makes him keep up on how much fast he can take, he could be much more faster but he doesnt need it since saving was his goal heck even tho before gearshift midoriya was dodging light against nine

Imagine how hard are those fricking punches? Deku is by definition stronger than All Might peak form because he's the next generation already, but he also uses Fa Jin and Gearshift and Black stuff to make him faster. I bet all my life savings peak Midoriya low diff's peak All Might, it's not even a question. Deku punched 11:11 AFO five times at the same time and it was WEAKER THAN ONE CHARGED PUNCH. Yeah, All Might's punches were enough to change the weather, but Deku's punches turns air into charged plasma 9:21. Peak fight by far, but more is on the way. Also interesting that utility quirks basically help him maneuver in 3D at mach hell and have a full control of the target, Shigaraki is struggling even to see where's our boi
